Gators are in trouble and going backwards....Here is the data

Perhaps people are more concerned with the stats from last yr. Not from two yrs ago. The 2015 line was at 126 yds/gm and gave up 45 sacks. A significant difference enough to bear watching.

This post consists of some of the things that you've already failed to respond to:

Tell me genius, does a coaching change matter in recruiting and in W/L?
Does losing your starting QB after a 6-0 start matter at all?(twit)

~~ Florida didn't play: 3-9 TxSt, 3-9 BC, 3-9 WF, 4-8 Syr, or lose to 3-9 GaTech in 2015. Those 5 opponents combined W/L was 16-44.
The
worst team that UF lost to was @ 9-3 LSU by a late trick play TD. The other 3 teams that UF lost to were a combined 34-7 on the season. And that was with our 1st year HBC and the 4-4 backup QB, (now a WR).

10-4 UF was the SECe-Champion in 2015.

What championship did 10-3 FSUcks win among the Almost Competitive in 2015, before losing to 2nd Tier Houston in their bowl game? Oh, that's right, Clems-son played NC for the Almost Competitive Conference Championship. And how did they do in their final games of 2015?

14-1 Alabama 45 - 40 Clemp's-son 14-1 - losers
10-3 Baylor 49 - 38 N.Carolina 11-3 - losers
* Frosting for that ACC losers cake -- FSUcks 24 - 38 2nd Tier Houston

Compare the UF vs UGA recruit class rankingsto their head to head W/L records over the last 20 years. (crickets). IMOHO, recruit class rankings do matter somewhat, but not nearly as much as you wish they did. Also see the BSU vs OK Fiasco Bowl outcome from a few years back.... o_O

UF has won 2 BCS-NC's since 2006, and has since gone through 2 head coaching changes.
How many has FSUcks won since 2006, with jimblow there the entire time?
UF's 2016 OL (only a partial listing).
#20 OG Cameron Dillard 6-4 308 rsJr **** - Canton, MI
#27 OG/DE Antonio Riles 6-4 322 rsJr **** - Lawrenceville, GA
#36 OG Brandon Sandifer 6-3 357 rsFr **** - Warner Robins, GA

#2 OT David Sharpe 6-6 355 Jr ***** - Jacksonville, FL (LT starter as a tFr)
#1 OT/OG Martez Ivey 6-5 295 So ***** - Apopka, FL (Fr All SEC Team)

Sorry, but with Summers to coach them up, I'd not trade my student/athlete group for your pack of thug criminoles, you're welcome to them.... :p
Will you actually get into the 'conversation' about UF's OL and OL coach, or will you just continue to spew out your idiotic criminole Clown-U BS? (I'm expecting nuttin' from ya, so I won't be disappointed).

Are you 12 yrs old with the juvenile names etc.? You change the topic as previously mentioned in other posts faster than a middle school kid. What a total random rant. Dude you used old stats to make a point, I called you on it. Fail. The majority of the rest of your rant was settled 27-2. Perhaps genius you confused me with a different poster but this is certainly not a smack board for Noles so if you wish to engage in such come on over.

Now that is laughable!! Walking vagina noles get their feelings hurt so easy that they ban anybody that tries to talk smack.....

You must have been watching a different team than the rest of us. I candidly thought the Gators 2015 offense along with the performance of the O-line was about as bad as I've ever seen at UF.

Statistically...UF allowed 46 sacks...which I believe was the most in the country. They ranked 121 out of 127 for average sacks allowed per game. If that's not "bad as feared", what is?

UF ranked 112 out of 127 teams in rushing yards per game. Again...chicken salad?
Whatever you need to believe to make yourself feel better. The play of the OL was good enough for 10 wins. Your opinion of the matter is of no consequence

Might want to check your facts a bit too. Florida played 14 games. We were bad at sacks. But not as bad as last in the country.

HAHA good luck with this rag tag Group! Wow, gator fans are in for a rude awakening. Let's see it's 5 out of the last 6, and now these last two below average classes start to kick in.

Please explain how the last two classes signed are not below the University of Florida's standard? I'll wait.

At first I thought you were a troll. Now I see you're an idiot.

Please tell us the average number of stars for all 1-A teams, then tell us the stars for UF. Bet you a nickle it's above the average.

For those that are bickering with the Noles, is it your assessment that we are going to field a good offensive line any time soon? Or be a good enough team to beat FSU in the next few seasons?

Neither seems very likely to me.

Five of Six and and now another class to widen the gap. Yet, you think it will get better? That's the definition of insanity. Five of six and just locked up another elite DT in your back yard. I mean it was expected but yes, Parks and Durden to FSU. HA. At the end of the day, it's what have you done for me lately. 27-2. And to end On a fourth down play, that was a pitch to Cook....it just happen to break for a TD and Gator fans think Jimbo was running up the score. You guys ever think if your team didn't give up at the end ofgames, this wouldn't be a problem?

Ok, but it's just a sport played by college kids. What's the point of following it if it just gives you a sense of pessimism and despair? We have zero control over the outcome.

The point is that the recruiting stars are a potential indicator, but the formula for success is convoluted past any real predictive power of one variable. None of us know what's going to happen and that's the main issue many of us have with these miserable Nole jackasses furiously posting here because we can see signs for optimism and we aren't buying their dogma. We have a right to make a case for optimism and reject their simplistic and repetitive takes.

Too defeatist for me. I think the three true sophomores will be very good. Dillard come back and will be decent.

So yes, I think our OL will be good this year.

"Good enough" that seems to be the theme of the board. You guys must be happy where you are. Settlers!

Anyone ever wonder why so many twit criminoles come here, but so few of us Gators ever bother to go to snor-rant? (annoying little brother wannabees is my guess) ;)

The 10-4 Gators are the 2015 SEC-E Football Champions, after being picked to finish 4th-5th in the SECe by the preseason media, in Jim McElwain's 1st season. The Gator's new freshman (3 star rated) WR Antonio Callaway led the way while earning Freshman All SEC honors. That kid's another 5 star player on the field imo, to go along with the other 5 stars, DE CeCe Jefferson and OT/OG Martez Ivey.

Notice how every twit-crim tries to ignore 2 main things about their 23015 win?
1. UF had a new 1st Year Gator HBC that was dealing with the Musclecramp offensive residue.
2. Our starting QB had the team at 6-0, then the backup QB that had lost the starting job went 4-4 to finish off the season.
================

What 'OFF' season???

The Gator Men just won their 4th consecutive (37th Overall) Swimming & Diving SEC Championship.

The #1 Ranked Gator Baseball team picked up their 1st win of the new season. New (on fire) freshman pitcher, Brady Singer, got his 1st win as a Gator. Singer was a 2nd round, #56 overall pick by Toronto coming out of HS, but he chose to come to UF instead, (Yee-HAW). Gator Coach Kevin O'Sullivan brought in the #1 Recruiting class in the nation to replace the ones that have moved on to MLB. The Gator's 2016 march to Omaha has begun, with several new freshmen 'dudes' filling in the gaps!

Gator Freshman Golfer Sam Horsfield fired a -7 under (63) to take the lead in Round 1 of the Sun Trust Gator Invitational. He followed that up with a -2 under (68), for a 2nd day -9 under 131 helping to put the Gators in 1st place. His -7 1st round score marked the lowest of his college career and tied the Gator Invitational record for the best first-round score in the tournament's 39-year history.

In Lady Gator B-Ball: With their 79 - 67 win over Vandy on Thursday night, the Gators improved to 20-6, 8-5 in the SEC. They own a share of third place in the conference standings with three games remaining until the SEC Tournament. Very likely to be Women's Big Dance bound.

The #1 Lady Gators Softball team knocked off #2 Mich. in a shortened 5 inning 8-0 mercy killing.
After Saturday's double-header wins in Orlando at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic, the Gators are sitting at 8-0 on the season. UF has now outscored its opponents this season, 80-4 (+76).
10

Last seasons WCWS Championship team was 84-10 (+74) after 8 games.
Gator Pitcher Hanna Rogers graduated after the Gator's 2014 WCWS Championship.
Gator Pitcher Lauren Haeger graduated after the Gator's 2015 WCWS Championship.

However, the Gators are ranked at or near the top in every major pitching category and Florida is by far the Nation's best defensive team with its .996 fielding percentage, having given up just one error this season.
Looking and hoping for a 2016 Gator 3-Peat.

The #2 Ranked Gator Gymnastics team won @ #19 Missouri Friday evening, while the Gators swept Friday's event titles. It was the nation's fifth-highest total score of 2016. The Gators also own the #1 and #6 highest totals for the season, marking UF with the 1-5-6 best point total outings.
Looking and hoping for another 2016 Gator 3-Peat.

Then the #8 Lady Gator Lacrosse team just knocked off #2 North Carolina 16-15.

How is that criminole phootball factory SoW doing in the hunt for the Director's Cup?
How may times has FSUcks finished in the Top 10 for the Cup?

Seriously my friend, do you follow any sports? As of 1/14/16 the final Fall standings of the Director's Cup has FSU at n# 12 and UF at # 19. Additionally the ACC has 9 of the top 25 ( #2, #3, #6, #9, #12, #16 , #18 , #22, # 25) in the standings to the SEC with 2 UF at #19 and Ark. #24. How wrong could you be?

Insta has to be 12. He HAS to be. Only a 12 year old would constantly speak like he does with those stupid, not catchy at all, names he comes up. "snor-rant"? I f'n hate that site but that is just stupid. "Musclecramp"? 12 years old. Maybe less.

See?

FSU fans are not a fan of other sport not named football. Until they are. And that is only in the context of how well those sports do compared to Florida.

"Fall Director Cup standing a bit ahead of Florida. omgomgomg we are so awesome!"

"Spring Directors Cup considerably behind Florida. Who cares about basketball, baseball, softball, etc, etc. omgomg we are so awesome in footbawwwllllll!"

Not to mention, the trophy is presented for the entire year and the Fall sports comprise less than 1/4 of the total.

Exactly the point. There is no question that right now the FSU football program is in a better place that the Florida football program. Right now. Transient and not as big a difference as they might want to believe, but still indisputable.

Yet I do not think there is one FSU program not named football that is better than its Florida counterpart. Certainly not basketball. Certainly not baseball. Softball? Nyet. Gymnastics? No. Maybe woman's basketball? That might be one in FSU's favor. So two then?

Any others?

FSU finished the 2014 final full yr. #12, and also the final 2015 finished #12. Makes your argument that there's only one sport at FSU look extremely stupid, no one is talking trophies in these threads- pretty much Stanfords' usually . UF does better overall but also had a much larger budget overall and esp.for the minor sports.

Only because you asked, our Women’s soccer team has been to 4 straight College Cups (Final Fours) winning it once.
