Couple things stand out here.
FBI started collecting names and taking pictures of returning OEF/OIF vets under Obama and Oath Keepers has been aware of government surveillance since 2012 I believe.

I have said a civil war is a stupid idea. A revolution would be the only "feasible" action. It would need to be contained, swift and small. ( See Romania ) It would require special forces types and C1A/special forces style compartmentalization to prevent infiltration.
So short of that you have voting, creation of a parallel society and a barter system.
a national divorce is a bad idea for 2 reasons.
1 I'm not willing to abandon half my country.
2 I don't believe in rewarding bad behavior. If your child is misbehaving, you punish him. you don't give him his own set of rooms on the other side of the house.
