Also, as with the Southern border, it is not just Mexicans or even central americans coming across illegally, it is not just Canadians coming across the Northern border. It's just not even close to the scale of the Southern border.

I have a theory and it's not based on race. It was started on TV by a prominent republican who wrote a book about it. He was all about creating a boogie man. Each side needs a boogie man to get out to vote. It's easier to be mad at one area then every area. The beauty of politicians controlling us. In one post he's pretending that the illegal immigration issues may be the same at both the northern and southern borders. After he gets called out on that ridiculous point he relents and admits that the issue at the northern border isn't the same. That's not being fair or reasonable. It was unadulterated BS.
I never blinked when I agreed that visa overstays were an issue. I never tried to spin otherwise. That was fair...and honest. I just didn't feel the need to lie or bullshit and he clearly did.
