Yep. And they had Anthony Grant before him. How many black HCs has the SEC had? A bunch. Hell, there has been a bunch in football alone.
I don’t think I could name another outside of Sumlin...

Imagine that.I don’t think I could name another outside of Sumlin...
He is a good JOKER isn't he? Very Sly might I add.Imagine that.
Remember how hard Charles Barkley was pushing for Turner Gill to coach Auburn. Sporting that 20-30 record.Because the SEC is the best conference and haitorically, Black people are awful coaches.
Him and a man that has the same last name as the father of electricity. Not to mention two other guys hat were interim. He is a good JOKER isn't he? Very Sly might I add.

Wouldn't say that, its likely more a perception thing. So few black coaches get premier jobs that when they fail it's more memorable, highly doubt their failure rate is worse than anyone else. Math alone says that can't be true. Continuing to use Sumlin as an example....he has the highest winning % in A&M's modern history yet the perception is he's another black coach that failed and used as an example of black coaches not succeeding. Nobody remembers all the coaches that bombed before him.
Really didn’t think I’d catch you when I threw that bait out.
