What can they do though with the SC ruling on NIL? I think the only thing that may correct it some is if A&M and Miami etc don't get much of a return from spending all that money.

Yep Ole Bama, Georgia and some others aren't paying out more NIL than our people and they just have programs the very top rated kids want to go to.

Seen it talked about and numbers thrown around on a few guys but never any official list where schools are reporting the amount of NIL their players are receiving from businesses etc.
Which means by inference, that they could be getting nothing, or very little, except for a very select few of them?
Yep, just like the good old days. Some got MickyD bags of cash or a used truck to drive around, but most just got the usual sweet deal, tuition, housing, meals, medical, tutors, groupies, lawyers, etc.... It's gonna be really tough on the poor few that don't get a big NIL deal.... 😏
What do you think the highest rated players have been getting at these schools that have been the top 5 recruiting ranked schools in the College playoff era? By the way the same 5 schools have won 15 of the 16 semi-final games.

There could and should have been some controls around that. Just because they can benefit from it doesn’t mean they have earned it. My belief is that it was supposed to be a reward for performers that had actually done something at the college level. But of course the fvckin adults had to mess that up and start buying kids still in hs.
I agree about the big boosters letting this get out of control with unproven high school kids but I don't see how the controls would hold up in court though as long as the NIL deal specified it started once the kid was enrolled in school. The NCAA having a rule that high school kids couldn't even sign a deal that took affect upon enrollment at a school might not fly with the courts.
Billy's impressive 2nd OL haul in 2023, with 2 OL coaches recruiting, is way better than Dan's ever was.... 🙄

There are quite a few proven players in the portal that can at least hold their own in the SEC. I think Ole Miss and Miss State built much of their 2022 roster that way and UK is starting to go that route a lot now also.
