I watched an entire Gator women's BB game tonight for the first time in years. Florida won at Mississippi State 73-64 in a tough game in which they were down 3 at the half, but dominated the 4th quarter and pulled away for a fairly easy win. Gators are now 18-6, 8-3 in the SEC. Their best player, Kiki Smith, missed numerous layups and didn't have her best game, plus the team had 18 turnovers against a tenacious, quick Bulldog defense. But Florida shot 45% from the field, made 5-12 3's and 18-23 free throws, while outrebounding Miss. St. 45-29. This is a well coached team that plays hard and together and uses a deep bench. The Bulldogs had won 8 straight in the series vs. Florida and we're ranked for the first time since 2016. Not bad!
I too watched and was impressed how quick our guards are To the basket. I know others have said we need to remove the interim from coach Finley. I have to agree.
They are playing well. I know we have lots of season left, but any idea on recruits we have coming in this year?
It's almost as if you don't watch the game but just pull up stats afterwards?

So the sales manager for your company, he's a great guy. Comes in early, stays late, very positive team player, but your sales aren't quite meeting expectations. Do you replace the sales manager? You know you could end up with somebody worse, or several somebodies in succession, but you also aren't content to be average. So what do you do? It's a tough call.
Of course, if Insta worked at your company, he would wait to see what everybody else thought, so he could take the opposing viewpoint and call everybody idiots. Because he doesn't care about the company, all he wants to do is call people idiots. It's his only goal in life.
Not really a tough call, IMO. Like the guy or not, he either wins something or is shown the door.

KY 78 - UF 57. We fell down by 16 early, with Castleton having 4 turnovers the first 5 minutes and Appleby getting hurt 7 minutes in. The Gators kept trying to claw back in the game and made a couple of nice runs. But their big guy may be the best player in the country, certainly the best in the SEC. He had 27 points and 19 rebounds. Our guys simply couldn't block out on the defensive boards, as KY got 18 offensive rebounds, leading to them getting off 16 more shots than us. Once again we only hit 5-22 3's, had only 8 assists to 10 turnovers, while they had 17 assists and only 5 turnovers. Position for position they are better than us at every spot, plus their bench has more quality depth. Need badly to beat TAM Tuesday, with Auburn & Arkansas up after that. The bubble could be bursting.

You have to give White credit. He slowed the game down. No way he was going to run with UK. I think he did a great job coaching job tonight. Never mind the score, look at North Carolina and Kansas.
And we're not? A&M will be just as hungry for a win. We lost to a garbage Maryland team and who could ever forget losing to Texas Southern?

Might be Cheats best team. They are absolutely loaded. Their big is as good if not better than anyone I've seen. Very balanced team. They are poised for a deep run. Gators fought hard but were simply outgunned.

At least White is making excuses that the other team is so good now instead of placing most of the blame on our own players instead of his coaching.
He has done it quite a few times in his press conferences - at least he did last season.
Note to Socialist-U and it's entitled fans,,, FIRE MIKE WHITE NOW, before he makes yet another Dance.... (of course is they don't make a post season tourney for the 1st time in his tenure, then they can use that as the new firing standard for Gator B-Ball coaches, make tourney or fired)
