When Saban Retires After This National Title, Who Will Bama Go After?

First 6-years as HC:

Mark Richt: 61 - 17
(SEC without a Heisman QB)

Jimbo Fisher: 68 - 14
(ACC, Hesiman QB, and 3-yr head start)

That puts Jimbo in the top 3 active winning percentage BTW. Richt really had a nice run early on. His problem was being too loyal to mediocre assistants.

Wait, did I miss Richt getting a Natty and going to the playoffs? Who knew Viagra caused memory loss?

if he'd been playing in the ACC all these years im sure he would have done more.. lmao if he ends up winning the ACC at Miami after all this time of doing nothing for the most part in the SEC.

It shouldn't be that hard to win at Miami.

Sounds familiar.

Guaranteed, Jimbo = Richt. If 6-yrs isn't enough for you, just wait longer.

It amuses me that Foley never wants anyone with any kind of mark against them uet given the chance he would enter into a romantic relationship with Nick Saban
He would?

And what NCAA problems has Saban had?

Your Foley hatred gets the best of you, as usual.

Why would all of these coaches even want to go to Bama, home of the most demanding fan base in college football? A couple of years ago, they went 11-2 and some of their fans were talking like maybe Saban needed to go.

I almost pity whoever eventually follows Saban.

Ummmm…ok…Bama won the game.

The above post may very-well be the weakest, most pathetic, and failed troll attempt in internet sports message board posting history….

Does Guinness or Microsoft have some way of tracking or reporting that record/statistic? If so, we should report it.

You really think Saban will retire if he wins it this year?? I could see them wanting to talk with Jimbo and Dabo... I dont think Dabo would leave Clemson at all... Kiffin getting promoted to HBC at Bama would never happen... Chip would be really good at bama and would kill everyone with speed but thats like complete opposite of how bama plays football... IDK I can't really think of anyone who would be a nice hire after losing a guy like Saban..

I certainly don't think he will be coaching for as long as he planned to a couple years ago. Nil and wide-spread "pay for play" is the greatest shift in college football for many decades... and more tradionalists may not want to stick around. The SEC is not going to get any easier with OU and Texas joining. Now, more than ever, it's going to be harder to win a NC ....and I don't think a traditionalist like Saban will stick around for long.

Saban isn't calling it quits. Whoever Bama goes with when Saban leaves has the next has 3 years and they are being rotated out. No way you make that fan base happy unless they win the national title the following year.
