No. Part of the problem is they wildly overestimate the percentage of the country who want Trump.

Well, if you believe it's a rational fear, one that could be addressed by Trump, we should all care.
Similarly, if Trumpers have a rational distrust over RDS being a RINO, one that he could address and have a serious conversation about, that's reasonable as well.

My main disappointment with Trump was not funding and building the border wall when he had both chambers. He waited too late. Activist federal judges were a roadblock but with the makeup of the SCOTUS still no excuse. I think he thought he had plenty of time but midterms rolled around and it was screwed.

Despite being an (excruciatingly) loud minority, Trumpers believe they are the “silent majority.” This gives them a sense of entitlement that leads to unfounded conspiracy theories, calls for a “national divorce” and threats of violence whenever Trumpy election-deniers lose elections, instead of recognizing what is plainly obvious to everyone else: most Americans are not Trumpers and don’t want him as president and don’t see him as “good for America.”

I'm going to 100% vote for Trump if he's our candidate but there's no reason for me to deny that I think Trump can be rather vindictive at times.
Imagine a rational and reasonable conversation where Trump says, "I will full-throated go after those who mean America harm but it's my solemn promise that I will not pick battles that are of a more personal nature that would distract us from our common goals."
Seems rather reasonable to me.
We could get a similarly response from RDS re: RINO's if necessary...though I don't believe it will be. I think his candidacy for POTUS is almost certainly dead.
