I watched today and tried to be unbiased and with a critical eye to whether Trump was being egotistical, delusional, etc.
Zelensky fought with Vance, fought with Trump, spoke over Trump and comported himself with little respect for a country that has poured $120B+.
Vance showed a spine. Good for him.
Putin is indeed non-trustworthy. I get it. But Vance and Trump are right - since Feb 2022, the Biden approach of funding a never-ending war has helped no one but the four star generals who sit on the boards of General Dynamics and other US defense contractors. Ukraine is losing a general of young men.
Z was there to get a mineral rights deal and get to the pause of a cease fire. He walked away with nothing.
If I am a Ukrainian father and mother whose son could get called next I would be horrified by what I saw.

Agreed. Trump should come out with his statement saying that unless Zelinsky comes back in a suit and publicly apologizes for his behavior or we’re gonna pull all of our funding from Ukraine.

If you think Zelensky‘s game plan to alienate the United States to gain more support from Europe was a good idea, than this is One of the more ignorant things you’ve ever said. There’s not a single country in Europe that can provide Ukraine with the weapons that they need unless they deplete their stock piles of the weapons we’ve given them. We’re the only country in the world that can provide the kind of weapons that Ukraine needs in quantities sufficient enough to make a dent.
To be clear, I don’t like Russia. They should not have invaded Ukraine. They should’ve respected the countries sovereignty, but no leader of any country should come to our White House and treat our president and vice president in our country like this. End of story.
