Can't say for sure but you could get that kind of spin on any real encounter. You also have the pilots observations and if I remember right that one thing wasnt giving off a heat signature anything like an aircraft despite moving at those speeds.
Parallax my friend…gotta look at the math, angle of observation and the relative velocities. Optical illusions abound.

The true premise is that the UFOs are real, and not simply misconceptions of other known craft or phenomenon .

First: that we do not know what the UFOs are. But we do. A cursory investigation of existing evidence, testimony and so forth proves what Lockheed Skunkworks director Ben Rich concluded in 1986: That there are 2 types of UFOs “ours” , or man made antigravity propulsion vehicles , and Extraterrestrial. It is not just the hijacking and trashing of serious witnesses and evidence into the silly season of ‘Honey, I just had sex with aliens’ routine. It is the association of important evidence, scientists and witnesses with a xenophobic titled science fiction product like ‘Taken’ and the entire abduction industry that can empower fear in the minds of the masses regarding all things extraterrestrial.

3. Those in power intend to use those craft to continue and strengthen their control over the ignorant non-elite.
4. IF the aliens had wanted to destroy humans, we'd already be dead.

I am from the holler not the swamp. I didn't crawl out of anything but I did often go down to the crick and climb up into the cleft of a cliff.
Me the dogs and the serene sounds of birds and flowing water. Good times.
No UFOs though.
That kind of wonderful outdoor experiences (much like my own youth back in the 50's and early 60's) gives you and others here all of the quality information you need to sustain your own biased (ignorant) beliefs on the subject of aliens and UFO/UAP's. I get that.
Ignorance can be easily cured with information, but Stu-pic is Fo-eva....

I on the other hand, spent years with a Top Secret clearance, working for the military in an area that gave me solid incontrovertible information on the subject, which I won't share here in any detail. I KNOW that they are real and have been around for at least 53 years in my own personal/professional experience. Others are obviously still free to believe or disbelieve anything that suits them, so each to their own in this case.
I provide some public information that's available to anyone, but I'm not an evangelist attempting to gain converts. It's the dis-believers here that pant and scream that 'nothing is real' except what they are willing to believe. (which is why I put those trolls on IGNORE)
Public Disclosure has already happened, and recently so has Govt. disclosure begun with the release of the Pentagon vids and release of some papers, but it's just the tip of the iceberg so far.
