The two losses he suffered were were when he went 0-10-1, and the nulls were scrapping their savage bungholios until the bitter end against a walk on lefty QB. Pell lost in Trailerhassee (I was there) and once again, no instant replay on a CLEAR fumble, UF whipped your ass and lost 17-13 accordingly. The following year, 1981 UF cleaned your clock 31-3 and went on a 6 win winning streak. Null memories are short. UF has owned the red headed step children since day one. Bowden choked in his only head to head against Spurrier for all the marbles. It's just a shame the cowards never wanted to play in the SEC annually.........the whelps would be visable.

Most of you FSU fans say the SEC East is what, "hot garbage?"

Notice that the "hot garbage" division is just a statistically insignificant place behind the BEST division in the ACC, the Coastal Division. Correct me if I am wrong, but is that not the division where Clemons and FSU reside? So, FSU's schedule is comparable to being in the SEC East.

Now look at the SEC West. That is where FSU would reside, if they were in the SEC. It is not too much of a stretch to imagine that FSU would have have a current total of four to five losses in that division, given they have already lost two in the pathetic ACC Coastal.

Gotta disagree with that. Who would be the 4 or 5 losses?

LSU? One Dimensional on Offense and a weak Pass Defense that allowed Syracuse to throw for 300 yards on them.

Ole Miss? They lost to Memphis so no way.

Arkansas? They lost to Toledo so no way.

Texas A&M? Decent Offense but no Defense. Dalvin Cook would run wild.

Mississippi State? Tough game with them having Dak Prescott but certainly one we could pull out.

Auburn? I don't even need to get into that discussion.

Bama? Yes we would 80% be likely to lose to Bama at least this year.

We could lose to some of those teams but to say it is almost assured we would have 4 or 5 losses in the SEC West is wrong. All of those teams above have flaws too.

And your team almost lost to Vandy, who is worst than Georgia Tech. Plus, you played Vandy at Home, we played Georgia Tech on the road.

However, basing an opinion of Florida only on the Vandy game is incorrect. But so is basing an opinion of FSU on the Georgia Tech game. The bottom line is those are just ONE game on each team's schedule. Ohio State lost to freaking Virginia Tech last year but beat Alabama and Oregon in the Playoff.

We've lost one game to a bad team this season. That would be Georgia Tech. Our other loss is to the #1 team in the country in which we played them very competitively on the road. We've taken care of every other mediocre team on our schedule. Prior to Georgia Tech we had won 28 consecutive ACC games. It had been three years since we even lost an ACC game.

Put UF in the ACC the last three years and there is no way they would have won 28 consecutive conference games.
