Actually, I think that Ga S team could whoop this year's GT team.
D#@#, the more I think about it, the more it pisses me off!
Ummm, hell no! I wish I was that confident in the Noles this year. Like I was saying, it would take a win in the Swamp to erase the memories of that awful GT loss. By all means we can win this game, it's possible but unfortunately not probable.
Gators went 0-10-1 in 1979. I'm sure there's a connection to this year's team somewhere.
This year yall are sitting in the top ten and the game is at the Swamp. We win this one, oh it will erase it!
I wish. But unfortunately that is my on call week. Can't even "partake" and watch either. Smh

While it will feel REALLY good, it will just solidify (for me) that we should have trounced GT. Imagine FSU's ONLY loss being a nail-biter to the #1 team in the country.

Since GT seems to be discussed at length ITT I will say this.
I don't know what it is about GT past and present, but they have given FSU fits for almost 2 decades now regardless of coach, scheme or record.
92) Fsu 29-24 needed a Charlie Ward late td to pull out the win.
99) FSU 41-35 Fsu won the national title that year.
2000) Fsu 26-21 Fsu played for the national title that year.
2002) FSU 21-13 Fsu was ranked #10 at the time of game.
2003) Fsu 14-13
2008) 31-28 GT
2009) 49-44 GT
2012) Fsu 21-15 in the ACCCCG
2014) Fsu 37-35 in ACCCCG Fsu played in the Playoff.
2015) 22-16 GT
So, with all that said I don't know what it is about GT when they play FSU. Maybe they watch old film and get amped up, maybe it's something out of this world that we can't see. I for one am glad we don't play them until 2022 in Tally.

You Gators act like you have blown everyone out but you
--barely won against East Carolina (they were driving for a score and fumbled)
--barely won against Tenn (they missed a last second field goal)
--barely won against Vandy (miss that kick and you lose on homecoming)
--allowed a horrible SC team to comeback and make it a game
yes you won them but please don't act like you are world beaters. If the east wasn't down this year I doubt you would be coming to Atlanta

Lies! Most of the posters here are much more critical of our team than any outsiders, esp rival trolls.
FSU has handled every opponent except Miami, BC, Wake, Clemson, Georgia Tech.
yes why don't they break down all those great games FSU played against Wake, BC and Miami in addition to the 2 losses they already had. Both Wake Forest and Miami were driving down the field going for a score late in the game to either tie or win the game. Of course he doesn't want to bring those games up.
By the way that horrible USC team you mentioned beat your 2nd best team in the ACC (UNC). Last time I checked you just can't erase that FSU loss against GT like it didn't happen.
So, tell us about the BC game, the WF game, the Miami game and the GaTech game. If the ACC wasn't so down this year (and every year), then I doubt FSU even has a winning record.
In all fairness, FSU was only tied or losing at the half vs USF, Louisville, and NC State.
So outside of USF, BC, Wake, Miami, Louisville, GT, Clemson, and NC State...FSU comfortably handled their opponents.

Sounds about right. Turnovers could turn it into a blow out though. For either team.
