No honest Gator fan here is trying to claim (or is content with) a moral victory over Georgia.

If you were paying attention prior to the game, we all knew that Georgia was the better team and program. We have just emerged from nearly a decade of darkness under Mac and Mus and are just now finding our way under Dan. We have every right to point to the positives in our performance as indicators of what is being built.

The fact of the matter is, despite our crappy play and mistakes, we amazingly hung with UGA until after our score in the third. Credit UGA for recognizing and taking advantage of our deficiencies, but the game was a bit more competitive than the final score indicates. If UGA fans don’t want to acknowledge that, you certainly don’t have to, you won.

It’ll be very interesting to see what happens in the UGA/Kentucky game today. sadgator fully expects UGA to win, but the game is probably going to be similarly close for a bit. Kentucky won’t be content with a moral victory either.

Nobody claiming moral victories. But the fact is we did run the ball very well against the dawgs, with an average oline. The gap between the two programs has shrunk considerably since last season. Denying that is simply ignorant. Probably best you don't swing by to check out the trophies, it will probably send you into depression....

That's because Kirby got outcoached by Mullen. Kirby coached scared there was going for a FG instead of punching it in and I have no idea why he had Fromm turn around and hand it off from the 1-foot line on 3rd down, it looked like Fromm could have fallen forward and scored.

Give Mullen another year to coach the players and the mistakes will disappear.
