No. Just stop. No. Current playoff system is fine. The last thing college football needs is the bullshit the NO FUN LEAGUE (NFL) demonstrates. Regular season games matter. Don't change that. If you are good enough, you will make it. Don't **** this thing up we know and love as college football. If you know a friend that believes a 16 team playoff should happen, take his keys and don't let him drive. Idiot lives matter.

Best team doesn't always win the conference. An 8 team playoff where the conference champions get in and 3 wild cards as well would be very solid, and would give those outside the Power 5 at least a theoretical chance to participate. It would also encourage good OOC games. You see, you can have a "relevant" regular season, or an "interesting" regular season, but probably not both.
