Today, thanks to agricultural advancement and game management practices, as many get killed on the highways as during hunting season.

Absolute nuisance at this point here. I hit two in one evening a few months back.

It’s scary. Too many critters and too many people here in Florida.
I travel I-10 from Jax to Tally a lot and when I see the sign warning of bears ( haven’t ever seen any) I think they need signs letting the tourists know that the deer from around Baker County on to are a real problem especially along a stretch in Columbia County. Driving through there at night is just about dangerous. Deer are very common along the side of the road. 😳

A deer is a walk in the park compared to a 300 pound boar hog. Instantly the deductible is met and add another zero to the claim.

A gated community I managed that adjoined the Skinner and Davis (Winn Dixie) acreage was plagued by wild hogs that invaded when they started clearing their land a few years back. I hired a trapper and the huge hogs they hauled out of there were scary. Both male and female adults were so strong they nearly tore up the traps which were very sturdy heavy duty. They would have hurt kids and pets and even adults.
But they did cut down the number of snakes and small gators who they ate up regularly.

Pablo Creek? I used to fish up that creek back some years ago. The Dee Dot Ranch wasn't too happy with us but nothing they could do about it if you don't get out of the boat.

My company managed Pablo Creek community off San Pablo Road but the one I managed was on Gate Parkway.
