Snowfall averages can be fun to compare but should be treated with caution, especially in Europe. This is partly because most alpine readings are taken at resort level and are not always representative of conditions higher up. (Some Alpine resorts have vertical drops of over 2000m).On average, North American resorts have smaller vertical drops, and most readings are taken up the mountain in areas that are more representative of the ski area as a whole.
That aside, snowfall is only one part of the complex snow quality equation. You only have to look at our “Top 10 snowiest ski resorts" in Europe to see that only two of them actually make our Top 10 snow-sure ski resorts in Europe.
Why? Most of the snowiest ski resorts in the Alps are close to the northern foothills, and are more vulnerable to the warming influence of the Atlantic. Obergurgl, for example, gets less than half the snowfall of Warth-Schröcken, but offers more consistent snow quality due to its superior altitude, and more sheltered position set deep within the Alps.

During "the coming ice age" of the 70's, their study predicted warming? Just guessing...the article is behind a pay wall.
Two studies tell me the Mediterrean sure ain't warming. Look it up. Exxon-Mobil ain't Warmists.
I remember watching that episode as a kid. They also played that ice age is coming stuff on filmstrips in schools for a few years back in the 70s before switching to the global warming nonsense in the later 80s.

These NUMBSKULLS that are hoodwinked with man made global warming are just SO SLOW witted. America is THE cleanest superpower on the planet, yet those numbskulls focus on OUR area's, wen China, Indonesia, India, Philippines, and MANY other Countries that do not even try really pollute the world. So I choose to just fight them tooth and nail, because what they are actually accomplishing in America is not doing ANYTHING WHATSOEVER to help world pollution. Water saving devices on faucets, GARBAGE washing machines that do not let enough water in to clean cloths, EV's WAY ahead of their time that really make NO SENSE for 95% of the population, etc. They ALL are too stupid to understand that this is a money grab by greedy politicians getting paid by funding this boondoggle. These are the SAME numbskulls that (about 45-50 million) voted for the WORST excuse of a president that America has ever had. We need testing to vote...and that would solve many of America's problems. However there are some of them that are not TOTALLY brain dead that support stuff like this to get gubment freebies. Let me be clear..not ONE of them feel the way that they do because they are trying to help America. That does not exist in their DNA.
