They expelled 2 of 3 democrats for protesting on the floor. The 2 expelled is black and the 1 they kept was white. This won't go well with race relations in the black community for the Republican party.

I don't know their past history of behavior in session so it can look racist all day. If the two men have a history of getting in trouble and the lady doesn't then it's justified. If the opposite is true it at the very least has the appearance of being racially motivated.

Yes - the optics are there, especially for the MSM covering it. The question is "why".
Did the white person not get brought up to remove? Or was it 2-3 people who voted not to remove her but did the others, the 2/3rd threshold then was not crossed and no clear rationale was given to the "why" for those 2-3 people. My intuition is that specifics matter.
On the protestors - you do NOT do that in people house, including the J6 rioters. Both actions are continuing stains on decorum and decency.
For both, had they protested outside, peacefully (and three individuals were peaceful), then no issue.
The chamber should have also just censured the three and not expelled, unless there was a long track record of this behavior.

Now the white woman only was spared by one vote so it's not like she had a huge margin of support. But the other thing may have been the use of the bullhorn. I saw the 2 black guys using it but didn't see the woman using it. That doesn't mean she didn't but I didn't see it and maybe that made a difference to somebody.

No, they were not protesting, they led the insurrection at the TN Capitol Building. And they should have arrested, not just expelled. I wish they would have expelled the third one too. They only bad part is they can't keep them from being re-elected, if they choose to run again.
All the people who stormed the TN Capitol Building should have been arrested. OR is it only when you support a Repub and storm a government building, you get arrested.
