I expected them both to get re-elected. I do love how you guys will justify anything the right does. Expelling all 3 was correct way to go but most black people will see what I saw. Even Candance Owens said "not a good look".

I have no idea how many black citizens or white, Asian or Latino I have helped. I help people who need help. Period.

I've been a conservative republican my entire adult life and this is who I've been the entire time. Everyone who intimates otherwise is an evil liar who wishes to create a divide between us. I won't allow it and I won't stand for it no matter how much hate you sow.

Rush to what? 2 black guys were expelled and the white woman was not. It is bad optics.

But is it institutional or is it individual.

In this case, the woman, was not voted out because (I believe) one person did not vote the woman out because (according to him) she did use a bullhorn and was far less vocal.

All of the other representatives wanted her out too - make no mistake. One person does not make an institution racist.

What this highlights for me is that we have both lost decorum and lost reasonable ways to deal with this.
They should NOT have stormed the capital, but rather led peaceful protests outside. No issue with that - at all. I will personally defend their right regardless of whether I agree with their issue.

The leadership should have taken an intermediate step of censure versus expulsion. If it is repeated, then expulsion.

The individuals are playing the race card when they too have accountability for their actions.

Feels very petulant on both side.
