Its crazy yall are arguing about the usage of a racists word. Anyway It's a respect thing imo, we all know the meaning behind the word is bad. And coming from a white guy has more of an impact when uttered by them.

Not knocking the kid singing a song but if he had respect for his fellow friends and teammates he wouldn't say it. Eminem is one of the greatest rappers alive and refrains from using it out of respect. But that's my 2 cents

Hopefully we can prevent this monster from playing football, having a job or generally moving on from such disgusting behavior as singing along to song.
I could care less what he sang along with. If there's a member of this website who hasn't used the "N" word please stand up and publicly declare your sainthood. and thereby probably be a liar. Is it right to say it now.? No but let's don't be holier than thou and scream for the kid's head.

The post you are responding to was pure sarcasm ...

Singing it in a song is a big nothing burger. Hell, I still hit every lyric of Country Grammer at the karaoke bar. Haha

I’m not saying the kid should lose his scholarship or anything like that but it’s just a bad look imo
A bad look? You ever been on Tik Tok? Every HS kid in America does 10x worse than that on a daily basis.

As a black man idgaf if a white person says the N word. We as a community say/ use it towards each other. I’m not dropping a kid because of a mistake. Btw, white people or any race that grows up with a lot of black people use the N word way more than the internet would have you believe.

Maaaaaan.... I m 53, grew up in Long Beach, Step-father of 36 years(passed away 10 yrs ago) was black, my younger brother is mixed, my 2d mom who basically co-raised me since the age if 3 was black, 1/2 my know relatives are black, went to LB Poly, grew up in the 70s, when PC was non-existent, Said the word 1 time at 6 (and not the hard -er) and got my behind put on 🔥 by my Aunt on my step-father side.

Haven't said the word since.....

Back in slavery days they only called the strong, fearless, brave, and uncontrollable slaves the N word. Otherwise you were called Boy or other sayings. I’ll never be upset with someone using the N word unless it came from a place of malice. At that point it doesn’t matter if you’re white or black I’ll have an issue. Jit shouldn’t lose his scholarship because of this. And F anyone who says otherwise.
man, dont do that, as a black man myself I will not tolerate the use of the N word at all around me. I will not tolerate my kids using it, or so called "white people who live or hang around us" . You are just typing nonsense there. This is up to BN whether he wants to deal with this,

I’d say, at this point, we have a dead horse. Most seem to agree it was not ideal at best and stupid at worst and shouldn’t be repeated. Most also seem to agree that he was probably not going to be in this class because there are others better regarded.

Again, context. He was singing a song that had the word in it. Good judgment this day and age, no, or almost every teenage kid guilty of this to some extent, if it’s something you need to be guilty of, then yes. Not something I would judge him by in this case.
Agreed. If the song is not intended to be negative to black individuals, then this is ridiculous, especially, if this is his first time.

I have african american friends that use the N word on me and I am latin, and I use right back at them. For us is normal, we do not get offended as we do not use it in an offensive way, just, how we are and same with my latin friends, actually is worse but we are friends. It is one thing if he is singing a song, another one is he is using it in an offensive or degrading way towards someone. Bad Bunny songs are offensive and degrading towards women, yet who are his biggest fans and love singing the lyrics even though they are offensive towards them, women...
I agree completely, Biden is a racist and it's absolutely disgusting.

I first saw it last Friday morning - I guess I just assumed he posted that as a reaction to Rashada flipping the night before - but i guess it could have been older.
It was discussed it had been in process for a little while and the Rashada flip just confirmed it as the so called final nail in the coffin.

@instaGATOR

Did you bring aliens from outer space to the Parking Lot???
The only reason I'm reading this thread is because I thought it was on the pay site.
With all the posters commenting here from the other site I was a bit surprised it's in the Lot.
But this should answer your question ... by the way, that's @instaGATOR in the space suit ..............

Back in the dark ages, when I was a kid, the N word was used for those with serious character flaws, black or white. Something I learned as a kid was this; Sticks and Stones can break my bones, but words (or names) can never hurt me.

But hey, is it still okay to call me redneck, cracker, etc?
And if so, then the 1st Amendment needs some adjusting imo.

BTW, it was white Christians in both England and America that outlawed Slavery, while Africa, Asia, and the Middle East still have slave markets.
