I've been watching college softball a long time and can't remember when all 8 Top seeds made it to the World Series. Usually there are a couple of upsets. Not this year. Lots of great, exciting games, but the host teams in the Supers all advanced. Should be a great World Series. Although the SEC is the strongest conference, with all 13 teams making the tournament, this year the Pac-12's upper tier was better than the SEC. Oregon, UCLA, Washington & Arizona State were all Top 8 seeds, the SEC only had 2 - UF and GA
FSU has been a very good softball program for a long time. Unfortunately, the ACC is a weak softball conference, so FSU doesn't get a lot of TV time or national publicity. They've had 2 national players of the year , the most recent in 2014. They've been to the College World Series 10 times. Check out their history:

Phenomenal series. Gators were down to their final out and trailing in all three games...and won two of three. Never say die!
