We need to accept responsibility for our actions and allow Jesus to handle the problems out of our control. No faith in anything will always lead to contempt. We certainly do not deserve it, but Jesus loves us so much he forgives us for our transgressions, it was never about good works as much as repentance and accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
