Senate Votes 53-47 to Confirm Radical Marxist Ketanji Brown Jackson to Supreme Court

CRT was not on the public consciousness when ACB went through her hearings. Ditto on the defining a woman question.

Both subjects are something that the Supreme Court will likely weigh in on moving forward and, because of that, both are valid questions during a confirmation hearing.

You seem to think because she's a woman, you can't ask her to define what a woman is and because she is black, asking her about CRT is off limits.

Does she get special rules because of her race and gender kalim? GMAB
Trans issues wasn't relevant when ACB was nominated? Bathroom bill passed in 2017. CRT wasn't relevant then? It was mentioned 933 times in June 2020 by Fox, only increased after that. It was 1st mentioned on FOX September 2019. ACB was nominated in October 2020.

You're off your game tonight.

BTW @kalimgoodman , her answer to "can you define a woman" was damn near disqualifying imho. Her answer was atrocious. It was juvenile and dull-witted.

The reason she answered it that way was ABSOLUTELY the reason they asked her. Her answer was why the question needed to be asked.
I actually don't think she knew how to answer that question. She was clearly caught off guard and didn't want to give an answer that was not the correct definition. I believe if we ask everyone who visits this thread we will get 10 different answers.

Dick or no dick? Even BScuck can answer that question. 😂

Of course she didn't want to give the 'wrong' answer.

Same reason you won't answer. See what defending the dems turns you into?

Every sane person here knows how to answer this question. Watching you attempt to normalize the perverts on your side is fascinating. It's like we can see your soul slipping away in real time.

No, I don't think either were as relevant.

Also, perhaps her positions on the subject were clear. Maybe the Dems didn't need to ask because they already knew???

Instead they harped on things that they believed that they could damage her with. Sound familiar? Is it different kalim?

Why is it different kalim? Poor libs...always a victim.

They just wanted to know her definition. Unless she said something incredibly stupid, like she did, her answer would have been fine in the eyes of the American public.

Anything short of...

gender doesn't exist

men have vaginas and women have penises

I'm not a biologist

Everyone is both

...would have been fine.

Very few people who was for her or against her? As I've learned here. Who you poll matters more than the poll.

Her answer was panned by most as an absolute cop out. Yes, some on the left defended her answer like you have. Many, perhaps most, have not.

It was an abysmal answer. I bet she regrets it. I guarantee that she will never admit that she does.

Who is most? Because after the hearing her approval went up even amongst Republicans.

At the end of the day, the leftards got their pick. It's politics. I'm not that butthurt about it, it's the way things roll, and nothing we can do about it. In all seriousness, she can't be worse than Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I'm not getting worked up about it. The best thing we can do is remove the Potato in 24 and "Hillary" the lefties in the court. (like what happened to Scalia) :p

Several critics blamed progressive and woke ideology in their condemnations.

"Ridiculous," media personality Piers Morgan tweeted. "I’m not a brain surgeon but I know what a brain is. This is where ‘progressive’ thinking leads - to a terror of stating basic unarguable facts lest it offend the woke brigade."

"The Party of Science," proclaimed RealClearInvestigations deputy editor Benjamin Weingarten. "Thing is, this is a perfect illustration of where progressive ideology leads us: To a position in which a Supreme Court nominee won’t admit the most basic of truths."

"Wow, our WOKE world has come to this that an educated woman can't even define herself... soon many WOKE brainwashed people won't even be able to define human..." investigative journalist Sara Carter wrote.

Some called it out as a form of virtue signaling, with conservative LGBTQ author Chad Felix Greene writing, "This has become the new way progressives express their moral superiority without revealing their intellectual weakness."

Editor-in-chief of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway added, "The new leftist orthodoxy is that ‘woman’ can’t be defined scientifically or logically and that if you do so define it, you must be canceled and destroyed. Healthy."

Other Twitter critics pounced on Jackson invoking biology in her response. Informed Dissent podcaster Leonydus Johnson pointed out, "In her asinine deflection, she accidentally acknowledged that being a woman is defined by biology."

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon noted that "to say biologists must answer this question is to suggest that womanhood is tied to biology (which is what conservatives argue)."

"If she knows it's a biological question then she knows the answer," American Commitment President Phil Kerpen chimed in.

There's more from the Daily Mail but I think this gets the point across.

If she thought it was a trick question, her answer inadvertently tricked herself. Biology saves the day.

So Republicans who disliked her and was criticizing her from day 1. Gotcha

it was a moronic politically motivated question, she was right not to answer it. this doesn't mean she isn't a little crazy. designed specifically to rile up the sheeple.

How did we know you would tote water for the left on this issue? LOL

What the Senator should have done is ask her to define a woman. She can't do that, cause it's not good politics.

Then he should have followed up and asked her to define a transgendered person. She would have spent 10 mins giving a detailed answer.

Then the Senator could have shown that she can't tell us what a woman is, but can tell us precisely what a 'transgender' is.

Because a 'transgender' is a creation of the left. There is no such thing.

the beta sheep is still here. still retarded i see.

NO difference between democrats and republicans is proven today. God is gone in America. You guys need to STOP looking horizontal for your savior and start looking vertical. God is our only hope of not only America but the world. This confirmation is atrocious and will have EVIL ramifications for years to come. And, of course, there are only two true, honest on justices on the court. Only two.
Her Rooney-Rule confirmation is complete. We know that any science involved will receive, "I'm not a Biologist, Forensic expert, virologist, physicist, pathologist, archeologist, paleontologist, astrologist, psychologist, or geologist replies."

I hope rank choice voting doesn't allow her to steal a win in the general election when she runs as an Indy again like years ago after losing the primary. Her and Liz Cheney are the 2 main targets for 2022 and she is the only one out of seven Senators that will be up up for election in 2022 and pulled that impeachment crap on Trump I think.

Edit: I guess she won't even have to run as an Indy this time as Alaska is going to a system that puts the top 4 primary vote getters on the ballot and we know with ranked choice all Dems will be told to put Murkowski second in the ranking and to leave the top Republican off the ballot.

Fevered brain 🧠. This lady is sharp sharp! Mark levin interviewed her and she was awesome. She currently holds a 2 point lead in the polls.

Kelly Tshibaka Blasts Lisa Murkowski for her Vote to Confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson

These are Biden comments today "celebrating" this confirmation.

From the Rose Garden Friday, the president said he "always believed" a "bipartisan vote" for Jackson would be possible — despite the "harassment and attacks in the hearings."

While praising some Republicans who voted in favor of Jackson, Biden slammed others, saying what Jackson was "put through" was "well beyond painful and difficult," but instead, "verbal abuse, the anger the constant interruptions, the most vile, baseless assertions and accusations."

This POS president is a turd. I guess no tough questions allowed for his little snowflake. But Biden didn't speak up when Kavanaugh was accused of gang rape without one shred of verifiable evidence.

this coming from the same POS who trashed Clarence Thomas during his Supreme Court hearings?

Kavanaugh had death threats against his whole family over a mentally ill woman that barely even knew him as a college freshman.

Murkowski wouldn't vote for Kavanaugh but she has no problem voting for a child porn sympathizer.

This week, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) voted against the confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, and spoke on the Senate floor to voice his opposition to her nomination.

Senator Scott has been clear about his belief that Judge Jackson will be an activist judge and a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s radical agenda, and took to the Senate floor to highlight her concerning record of weak sentencing, especially toward sex offenders.

Senator Scott also noted that Judge Jackson had a high rate of being reversed on appeal for applying the wrong legal standards, exceeding her authority, or simply ignoring clear law in her decisions, and committed to giving the American people justices who will stand up for the rule of law.

She could have said, "me....I am a woman."

Given the reality that we face, and the cases that the SCOTUS will hear, this question wasn't unreasonable.
