I admit I haven’t been following the confirmation hearing. But based on fact that they going after the lengths of her prison sentences, the GOP oppositional researchers must have whiffed bigly trying to find any real dirt.
This confirmation hearing isn't going anything like the ones for Trump's nominees, is it?
Why do leftists coddle pedophiles? Is that something independents support?
That's because she really doesn't have anything bad. Her prison sentence is in line with plenty of Republican appointed judges too.
The hearing was pointless. It was full of Republican talking points, no creativity at all. Just CRT, trans, and pedophiles (Qanon). The main things the Republican party have been talking about since 2020. They used this platform to double down.

In fact, three Republican-appointed judges served on the commission with Judge Jackson when the recommendations were released: Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, Judge Ricardo Hinojosa of the Southern District of Texas and Judge Dabney Friedrich, who was appointed to the District Court for the District of Columbia by President Donald J. Trump.
Judge Pryor told The New York Times that the panel’s recommendations were almost uniformly supported by its members.

The way the one democrat held that info on Kavanaugh was not cool. It also wasn't cool that the Republicans didn't throughly investigate the situation. That hearing was a joke on both sides IMO.
Reminds me of a joke a contractor once told me. "We're losing $10k a unit, but it's okay, we'll make it all back on volume."

I guess you never watched ANY of the hearings for Repub nominees. This hearings is nothing compared to how Dems treat Repub nominees. She will be confirmed with a few Repubs (We all know which ones) voting for her.
I could be wrong on this, but I thought they Repubs are pointing out the fact that she didn't follow the recommendations that you are talking about, she went light, and sometimes bigly.
No, they are trying to point out one or two cases and focus on those. I get it, courts is now politically motivated but still. The dems do the same thing. This is why America politicians suck.

I wouldn't call a Harvard graduate person who made it as a federal judge and now is up for the SCOTUS a disgrace. Whether you like her decisions or not, that woman is a great success in life and accomplished things that plenty of people dream of.

I just don't agree that someone that graduated from Harvard and is a federal judge is a disgrace. That’s a great accomplishment. I wouldn't care if they are Republican or Democrat.
I hate Trump but the man graduated from Penn and become President. That’s a great accomplishment.

I was wondering if you caught the inherent stupidity in these 2 conflicting sentences as said above. "The way the one democrat held that info on Kavanaugh was not cool. It also wasn't cool that the Republicans didn't throughly investigate the situation". So acknowledgment is made of Feinstein withholding for a week the charge against Kavanaugh as not cool. Ok, correct, but then in the next sentence criticizing the thoroughness of the Republican investigation. Did the person who wrote that ever consider the withholding of the information in the first place contributed to the thoroughness in the second place. So I'll ctiticize you for a crappy investigation even though I didn't even have the decency to provide you critical information to do a thorough investigation. Dumb.
Also, Ted Cruz had a chart showing more than one or two cases. The writer should be honest as he preaches to others all the time.
