Other Games

Agree - I started with the Notre Dame/Navy game, then switched to the Little League World Series. Much more entertaining.
That ND / Navy game was the sister-kissing game I expected it to be. Watched the 1st Qtr, then went back to my afternoon chores. Navy was clearly overmatched.

Planning to watch Vandy Hawaii but currently in a lightning delay.

Ohio/San Diego State has been a good game to watch.

Vandy doesn't look like they can pull off 2 SEC wins this season like last year unless they find a running game. Losing that good RB to KY in the portal was a big blow to them. QB didn't look too bad but it was a Hawaii defense. We need to make sure their lone SEC upset isn't against us.

Yeah they struggled to beat a bad team at home that they waxed by 50 on the road last year. I’m still shaking my head at how we lost to them last year, and I’m sure you guys are too.

How did they beat you? Running the ball mostly?
My wife and I were at the game (cold as hell, with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain throughout the game). Your question prompted me to go back and look at the box score - They passed for 184 and rushed for 264, so relatively balanced attack.

They actually outplayed us most of the game but we took a late lead. We had them stopped on 4th down but one of our DL was flagged for illegal hands to the face (it was the correct call). Four plays later on 4th and 11 they completed a 40 yard pass that looked like offensive pass interference that wasn’t called. A few plays later they scored with under 30 seconds to go, and our final possession came up short,

Every play matters……

Vandy was gratuitous finding two unlikely wins against UK and UF. They won't be that fortunate this year. I was at the Florida game last year. AR-15 played awfully, he kept forcing the long ball instead of moving the chains.

Not a good slate of games today. Tennessee at noon might be worth a look just to see how the new starting QB looks. SC -NC tonight might be an interesting game.

Watching some of Tenn and KY they both have to work the kinks out in the passing game some but don't look too bad for a 1st game. Tennessee's defense was really getting after the QB. Trying to picture George holding up against that if our running game isn't working good.

I watched the Colorado/TCU game. Incredible. Deion Sanders has already turned the worst team in the P5 into a competitive team and beat TCU in Ft. Worth 45-42. His son threw for over 500 yards. With only 3 returning starters and 68 new scholarship players, Prime Time shows that you can turn it around quickly.

I watched a little of that. That Colorado QB was making some nice plays after they flushed him out of the pocket.

Unfortunately, Colorado would probably kick our asses senseless right now…that’d be yet another PAC-12 loss for us…

His team was actually ready to play…imagine that…
The precision, focus and execution of the Buffs offense, plus the joy and enthusiasm that was on display from coaches and players, was impressive - especially from a totally rebuilt team with 68 new scholarship players.

Well we are finally to the biggest game this week. I think LSU probably wins a close game with Daniels being in that system for a year now. FSU did a pretty good job in feeling needs with the portal though. My guess is the loser can forgot about the playoff but FSU would have a pretty slim chance to maybe run the table after a loss.

Think it will be close but I also think LSU wins. Our FG kicker is not great and in close games that can be the difference. I am very interested in our passing game tho, reports have been it's very good but I have to see it to believe it. I don't think any outcome will shock me. Daniels and Jordan Travis are both excellent QBs. Looking forward to the measuring stick. I will be in the stadium in the LSU section will LSU gear on rdy to bully some nolies tho, so win win either way for me

What made you want to go there dressed as an LSU fan?

Most games I go to are at home, I have champion club seats, people around me know me. This is a great opportunity to piss fsu fans off, which I revel in. Don't really care if we win or lose tbh. Our defensive coaches are all morons so it's not like i want us in the playoff to get TCU'ed. Been having fun so far. Noles are sensitive bunch

I think you might be able to stand up to most teams except maybe Georgia. With this LSU win you are likely to make the playoff with a 12-1 record.

You are the strangest FSU "fan" I have ever encountered. Half the time I think you are full of it, but it's the internet so who really knows.
