Actually it looks like some locker room lepers have been exorcized. First was Grantham, then a few lepers infected by him.
SEC has been fairly more competitive this year. Maybe some of both, but looks more like improved to me since halftime during the UGA game. Night and day. They can actually cover my granny now, and stopped making stupid undisciplined penalties.
Not sure but this Gator team would have been curb stomped if Primo Eddie was still coaching this season.
Offense looks more in sync, defense isn't missing gaps on every play. I think they have improved. UF and FSU both playing their best football heading into the showdown in two weeks

Refs doing a number on Miss St. SEC got the message out we need dawgs undefeated to get 2 teams in. Smart.
Our defense has definitely improved without a doubt. Not sure what to make of it.

We'll soon find out over the next two weeks. Vandy on the road, no matter how bad they suck and how good we've been has been historically tough. Then on to the Joke. Two tough weeks without the crowd behind them.
Another boring ass game with Auburn leading the fighting Dumbo's, led by Cadillac Williams, who by the way was turned into a Yugo by the Gator defense back in 2002.
I love the Big Guy. He's actually kind of nimble for a dump truck. If he loses 70 pounds during the offseason he's going to get drafted high at some point.
Last 2 weeks were against offensively challenged teams. Fsu much better offense than either AM or SC.
This seems like a much different team without Brenton Cox. Too bad we won't find out the real reason why he was dumped by Napier till much later, if at all
Put pressure on any QB without giving up contain, our guys have a chance and look night and day better. I think our DBs are finally learning how to cover. Coaching makes a difference, lots of bad habits learned under Grantham. His name needs to be purged from the annals of Gator history. I'm seeing progress. We have a QB with a huge upside. A backup with potential. Two first class SEC running backs, I wouldn't trade either for anybody. Oline playing better. Defense playing better. There will be more down days, but feel like good times are coming again.
Seems to just be playing more sound/gap responsible/setting the edge. I was watching them today and thinking about how the first 4 or so games that wasn't the case.

I think they were reviewing down or distance, not the penalty itself. I have seen that a few times before.
Watching this game on SEC network was just a comedy. Trying to decide which group was more incompetent between the officials and the announcers was really tough. They kept outdoing each other.
Since you brought up the announcers, one of them says the Cocks(well not really) "are now looking at 2nd down" when it actually became 4th down. The analyst happens to be one of the former Dwag Stench brothers, Matt, if that explains everything.
I saw that too. That would have stuck out like a sore thumb if those guys weren't 90% thumb already.
Watching you guys confuses the shit out of me. I understand that the transitive property doesn't apply in cfb.....but...... how the hell did you all beat down USCe like they were children, then the next week lose to Vandy and USCe beats Tenn.... did not have that on my bingo card. This is why college football is so great tho
