This will always be the downfall of Heupel. Same thing happened at UCF. They will score alot of points but a few games a year the defense will break because his type of offense puts a lot of pressure on his own defense.
I'm taking a small comfort in knowing that we aren't the only team that vandy has beat recently(uk). Misery loves company.
It will be super fantastic if vandy can do it three times in a row next week.
If he's going to Auburn, he'd better learn how to recruit, because he sucks at it.
Kiffin reminds me so much of a Dan Mullen. Really good offensive coach and play caller but not a good recruiter. He also is similar to Mullen in that I think a mid-tier type program is good for them due to their personality, etc.

I'm thinking he just tried to make himself out to be a great recruiter after he failed at attacking Meyer in his only season at UT. Karma screwed him after bragging about stealing a thug in Nu'Keese Richardson from UF. Nothing will ever top the incident involving the Toyota Prius as Lame boy bragged about not having players committing criminal acts prior.
We all know about his failures at USC and the AD telling him to hitch a ride home from Arizona after his defense gave up 64 points to ASU.
It's no wonder he has that retard look on his face. If I were Monte Kiffin, I'd disown his ass.
The main difference I see is that Dan is an oddball who is off-putting to people due to his weirdness, while Kiffy is such a tremendous douchnozzle people just naturally hate him. But that is just a matter of style points, really. The result is basically the same.

He’s not an ass kisser type and probably has a hard time with trying to convince a recruit and his family when he’s in a battle. Just don’t see him groveling or begging.

That Clemson QB is terrible and Dabo’s little run I think has come to an end.
They've been so consistently good for 10 years or so, he's had an incredible run. And he still recruits well, plus plays in the ACC. Down couple of years by his standards though, no doubt.
Oh I agree. The ACC is trash so he will still do well in the ACC but not sure he will get them back to the level they were at. He’s actually lost a lot of coaches to other programs over the last few years and it may have finally caught with him a bit. We will see if Klubnik is any good because their current QB is terrible.
Never understood why that QB was put back in after the young guy played so much better when inserted into that Syracuse game.
Watching Scar play Tenn and Clemson you would think they are world beaters. Definitely and improved team. I can't wait for Dabo to fall, sick of Clemson, glad Scar got the win.

Pretty bad list of games today. I might watch Hawaii @ Vandy tonight @ 7:30 on the SECN just to see what they look like this season. That Hawaii team is supposed to be pretty bad though.
Agree - I started with the Notre Dame/Navy game, then switched to the Little League World Series. Much more entertaining.
