Kasey has a great first half scoring. Scored one point in the second half. Four fouls and two TOs in the second.
Allen has not been a factor the last 3 games. Hill had a great 1st half, terrible 2nd half. Too many missed layups and put backs by the bigs. Stone had a terrible game. But if we'd just made a few more free throws none of that would have mattered. Kind of like a bunch of games last year.
Allen hasn't even been on the floor much the 2nd half. But if we just make a couple of 3's and a couple more 3's we win fairly easily. 0-15 on 3's. Terrible play, but this game has been coming. They need to get re-focused because they've been exposed for how to beat them.
This team will be a double digit seed most likely but unless we can find a decent way to generate points it isn't a threat to go real far.
Dude, this is the best defensive team in the SEC. The second best in the nation. The next time we face a team with that kind of D, it will be in Gainesville when we play them again
There is zero excuse to miss that many open looks from 3, South Carolina sucks and both teams looked awful. UK will murder this team saturday.

Well we werent going 18-0. This is not a bad loss. SC has their best player back and are a legit top 15 team.
We are not trash...Defensively, this game was WAY up there for both teams. UF did not convert FT and missed a LOT of open looks. Difference in the game imo, and home court crowd for us was very good.
Yep. Our season average before the game was just over 70%. That would have given us 5 more points.
I only saw the last 10 minutes. I thought the refs were the biggest reason we lost the game. The 3 point foul on Hill was bad, then the lane violation and the travel call on Barry which wasn't close and should have been free throws. Other than d Rob our bigs got beat up on the boards. Tough conference game on the road. It happens.
Always a stiff challenge when you are facing down a packed house full of excited cocks (sadgator would have to assume).

Not a terrible loss, but it just shows we're not a legit contender for any type of championship. Good team? Yes. But the SEC is a bad basketball conference ^This was an excellent defense we faced and we had no answers. Couldn't shoot, from the field or the foul line. No go-to guy in the clutch. As a whole, the team played poorly and with a couple of shots here and there or just shooting decent from the free throw line and we win. Football was an Alabama and the little 13, basketball is KY and the little 13. We're in the top 1/3 of the league, but that's not saying much.
I don't think anyone expected this team to knock off Kentucky, and who knows what happens in the SECT? Winning a game or two in the NCAA tourney would be a very successful year 2 for Mike White.
Should we really expect more than that? Hell, if we make the tourney and win a game or two, that would be kick ass crazy.
If we mess around and lose to Vandy and OU we will start sweating making the tourney again. We dont have a signature win yet that they like to see.
