I am all for cutting govt where it can be, but not enforcing tax laws is stupid and a net revenue loser.

I am fine with the Government being reduced and hope it happens, but the IRS is not the place to do it right now. We cut off our nose to spite our face.

The IRS is gutted because it can't do its job. If you want to change the tax system then change it, but not enforcing the laws we have will not work, just like it didn't work on the border. Lots of people taking advantage.

FYI, I wasn't for Biden or Trump, I was for Nikki Haley. I have voted republican almost my whole life prior to Trump. But please, pot, keep calling the kettle black. Mindless are the people who use "Orange man bad", "Witch Hunt" or "Fake news' to deflect legitimate criticism because they are unable to make an actual articulate defense of their positions.
With regard to the tax system/IRS......I am all for changing it. Its WAY too complicated and full of special interest carve outs........but if we are keeping it, its stupid to remove the teeth from the system, especially facing a deficit that is out of control. Only the crooks/cheats benefit from this.....honest people will still, mostly, pay their taxes, but they will be the only ones.
