And don’t worry, whatever extra money these hundred thousand extra agents hired by Joe Biden we’re going to steal, DOGE will make unnecessary by cutting the size federal government by 10 to 20%

The IRS was already gutted, so rolling it back puts it in that same place. Doesn't have the manpower to do its job.

I am all for cutting govt where it can be, but not enforcing tax laws is stupid and a net revenue loser.

I am fine with the Government being reduced and hope it happens, but the IRS is not the place to do it right now. We cut off our nose to spite our face.

The IRS is gutted because it can't do its job. If you want to change the tax system then change it, but not enforcing the laws we have will not work, just like it didn't work on the border. Lots of people taking advantage.
