Mullen

Georgia won 10 games the year before Kirby was hired. They won 8 games in Kirby's first season.

Florida won 4 games the year before Mullen was hired. They won 10 games in Mullen's first season.

If Kirby is what you claim he is, seems like he could have done as well in his first season as Mullen did in his.
You are giving them a headache with facts.

1. Florida has owned Georgia if you know your history LOSER.
2. Speaking of LOSER, you spent your ENTIRE Sat. on here, why?

Georgia’s last NCAAM Championship? NEVER!

Georgia’s last National Championship in football? 1980! Wow that must really SUCK to be a fan of that athletically challenged school. Jim McElwain won 2 S.E.C. East Championships and that means what? You’ve said about 8,000 times how you’ve recruited the best in the nation. All the way to 3 losses last year and an ASS KICKING by Texas in your Bowl game after talking shit about not being in the playoff?
Hey lady... quit stalking me.
Dawgs lead the series... but you own it?
Also lady, we were the youngest team in the SEC last year and went 11-3 including double digit wins over every SECE team.
We're going to roll through the East again this year, especially on Nov 2nd.

You must be the dumbest person on this board if you think that I spent all day on here. I feel sorry for you, stalker.

anyone here ever see an opposing fan base worry so much about their rivals? The only time i think about UGA is the week of and then when they choke away their one to two games year. Yet these butt sniffers on the gator board pounding their chests yelling "Look at me, Look at me! we are so awesome!" like the need to prove them selves?

I imagine you are much more focused on UK and Mizzou these days since that’s your competition.

We shall see. I'm expecting things to be around that way by year 3 considering whom he replaced...but before it's all said and done, Kirby won't be dominating Mullen.
So we should lay off Dan until year 3 after he replaces the recent departures? Funny, Kirby didn’t get that treatment after losing all those studs from 2017

In that case, I’ll expect another Georgia blowout in Jax this season followed by some closer games. Looking forward to more competitive cocktail parties in the 2020’s...

Yes...Mullen lost to Mizzou and UK his first year at UF.

You tend to forget Kirby lost to McElwain with LDR as a starter, UT led by Butch, and Ole Miss his first season at UGA.

And he easily had more talent than each, so he got outcoached.

He is constantly getting outcoached. And the uga fans here can't understand why Bama fans aren't worried about Kirby?

In that case, season 2 for Mullen should be magical. Better than Kirby’s second season? SEC and National Champs perhaps?

So you're saying you think Kirby has a better season this year than Mullen does?

Year 2 for Mullen vs Year 4 for Kirby.

Should be a slamdunk, right? What say you?

And Kirby just had 1 more win in Year 3 than Mullen did in Year 1.

You do realize you're actually making our argument for Mullen being the better coach, right?

If he misses, as the dawg fans did when they spent last offseason calling for a NC, well he can claim that Florida was 'too young' to win :D:D:D:D
I don't know many football guys that thought 2018 would be our year. Most guys have been pointing to 19 and 20. Sorry CBS pointing out the fact that we were the youngest team in the conference bothers you so much.

BS Ghost.

Well Mullen had far less talent and with players only having a few weeks in his system, he won 1 fewer game than Kirby did in his THIRD year, with far more talent.

That's the definition of superior coaching.

Do you think Mullen will be getting his ass kicked by the #14 team in a bowl in his third year? Good luck with that.

Had we been at full strength in New Orleans, we win that game. We lost by 7. The ass kicking happened in Santa Clara.
I hope Mullen "superior coaches" like he did against KY, MO and UGA again in 2019... all double digits in state.

LMAO! So NOW Kirby had to deal with not only being 'too young', now he was saddled with being the only team in America that had to deal with injuries?

Lordy. Do you not realize how much of a cartoon fan you sound like here? This is getting into ohsfan territory and Kirby is not worth white-knighting over.

Exactly but that doesn’t fit his repetitive narrative

I didn't say football guys, I said dawg fans. Hells bells hounddog avatar claimed here last year that Kirby would win the next 10 NCs in a row :D:D:D:D:D

There’s not much of a difference between 8 and 10 win teams. Florida had more upperclassmen last year than Uga, 8 of which were invited to the nfl combine. Georgia’s 2017 squad that played for it all had 10, so stop it with the bs talent excuse. If Mullen is such a superior coach, then why did Kirby slap him around again? Surely Mullen will improve on last year’s accomplishments. If he doesn’t though, I’m sure you’ll be using the same ole tired talent excuse again.

Why are the mutts really here, yappin' about coaching?
Ans: Because they are scared chitless over Mullen's 2018 1st year success, and his current surge in quality recruiting.

Why are the Gator fans NOT on the mutt's boards talking coaches?
Ans: Because we're not worried a bit about 4th & Dumb... o_O

Again how was Smart’s 1st season at UGA? Didn’t he lose 5 games? You walked right into that one. Pretty dumb comment you just made.
He was 5 points (in 3 losses) away from having an 11 win season. Lost one game on a Hail Mary and two games by one point. 5 losses by 36 points, meanwhile Dan lost 3 games by 51 points

Because Georgia had twice the talent, and that talent had been in Kirby's system for 3 years, vs Mullen having half the talent, that had been in his system for 3 months.
No, the majority of that talent was freshmen and sophomore, so they hadn’t been in Kirby’s system for 3 years. But carry on...

That's actually a great point, Mullen only had about 25% of the team in his system for 3 months, the other 75% were players signed by another coach for another system.

While as you just proved, 75% of Kirby's players were signed by him, for his system.

Last time I checked 5 losses is more than 3 losses. Oh yeah and UGA lost only 3 games the year prior but regressed to losing 5 games under Smart. UF went from 4 wins to 10 wins. Significant improvement.

Didn’t Smart lose to McElwain and Jones in 2 of those games. 2 coaches that sucked and are no longer at that school. Very poor coaching job by Smart in year 1.

At least Dan didn't/doesn’t have to worry about coaching up freshmen QB’s in year one and two. He’s got that going for him...
