Mullen

You could also say you guys lost to bama twice bc of smart. And I am as huge a fan of Mullen as anyone here but I would take swinney or saban over him. I think you’d have to admit the same.
Right now I would. Saban is the GOAT. No question. And Dabo just stomped the GOATs ass. I’m gonna give Kirby some more time to grow into the job. He’s amassed the talent but that’s not all there is. If it were, Saban would be undefeated every season, but he’s never done it.

Gee, thanks. There goes your weak argument against Kirby. That was easy...

Cancels out? In that case, Kirby head to head against Mullen should cancel out all these silly arguments about Mullen being a better gameday coach.

I would say that uga was the more talented team against Oklahoma, esp on defense, and the talent differential eventually slowed down mayfield once the uga defense was able to get some rest when the offense was able to sustain some drives.

Against bama when they don’t have a big disparity in talent, and it turns into a game where adjustments are more important, he hasn’t been able to win them a game yet. Doesn’t mean he can’t, but I’m not sure the Oklahoma game is the proof.

I’ve wondered if saban had stayed at LSU if he would have been able to make them the juggernaut he’s built at Alabama?

The Top 5 College coaches could succeed at some level at any school in the nation. Level of success is largely dependent on surrounding staff, Admin, Alum,. and fan support.

I'm happy with Dan as both a HC and as a human being. I wouldn't trade him for any of the other 4 right now.. ;)

Well it’s tough to knock off a team that had 7 straight #1 recruiting classes and is used to playing on that type of stage. Never thought we’d keep it as close as we did...

As you should be. Let’s just cool it with proclaiming he’s better than Kirby until he proves it on the field

He’s still kind of a dork.

I’ll give him credit for coming out with a game plan that was clicking early. I thought it would be a rout and if you guys made it a game that would be impressive, so he deserves props for that. I almost wonder if it would have been easier to get blown out than to have it happen the way that it did when all is said and done

It’s the Georgia way. We’ve had our hearts ripped out way too many times.

I honestly think they slowly wore us down. There was a few bad calls that kind of took the wind out of our sails also.

You are mistaken yet again. I don't need to proclaim anything, the Coache's Poll has already done that for me. I'm just quoting the 'COACHES' opinions over clueless buttsniffers like yourself.

While you proclaim how great #8 4th&Dumb is in his 3rd season, and how dorky Dan is at #6 in his 1st season at UF...

There is no LET'S (let-us) on this Gator board for any nuttlicker that's munching on more jaxdawgturds and spewing constant chit... o_O

However, I would invite you to sit down & STFU until your non-finishers win a NC to break your 40 year drought... :p

There isn’t much more frustrating than jumping out to a big lead then watching the opponent come back and not being able to stop it. I try not to complain too much about calls, but in those situations they feel even worse bc you feel like all you need is a break and they are all going the other way.

I wasn’t watching the game all that closely, and for most of the second half I was driving so I was just listening and didn’t see the calls, but you could just feel the momentum swinging. That’s what they’re built to do, though. They lean on you and wear you down.

Of course, they got to feel the other side of that in the NC. I do have a feeling saban will not rest until he’s taken one back from dabo though

Go try to sell that whiny chit to the Clemp's-son or Schmuckeye fans...
I'm betting that they won't buy it any quicker than Gator fans would... o_O

2018 Clemp's-son 44 - 16 Red-turds -- L
2017 Leghumpers 23 - 26 Red-truds - W
2016 Clemp's-son 35 - 31 Red-turds -- L
2015 Clemp's-son 40 - 45 Red-turds - W
2014 Schmuckeyes 42 - 35 Red-truds - L

Some coaches recruit players that can finish and succeed.
3 star Dak and 2 star Fitz for example. o_O

Some other coaches recruit for stars and can get Heisman losers...

Recruiting stars matter some, but only as a side-bar, not as the primary determiner...

Him blowing two chances at a NC due to coaching incompetence means he's not a weak coach?

LMAO! Ok bro.....like I said, give the man a lifetime contract with a $100M buyout. I won't shed a tear.

The new Georgia complaint every January: "We had too much talent to have this record."

They were the better team and handled the ups and downs better than we did. Like I said, I didn’t think we could keep it as close as we did. The blocked punt that was called offsides was devastating...

I don’t remember the play specifically but those are big momentum plays when you can make them. And yeah, thebetter teams usually find a way to win. I didn’t think anyone would beat them last year, and was really shocked that clemson took it to them like they did

I'll credit you this. It only took Smrt 48 minutes to realize UF was playing converted safeties and true freshmen at CB because of injuries and start throwing the ball downfield.

As close? You had big leads in both games, and blew them both late in the game when it was close and coaching calls were mega important.

That was choking time for 4th and Kirby.

Ah there it is. The game wasn't lost because Kirby had no adjustment for Bama's backup, it was cause the refs made bad calls against us.

LOL When they fire Kirby, suddenly those 'bad calls' will disappear and it will change to Kirby made no adjustments and wasn't ready for Bama's backup QB like he should have been.

The new Georgia complaint every January: "We had too much talent to have this record."

They said the same things in 2001-2003 about Richt that they are saying now about Kirby. Richt was hottest young coach in the country, ace recruiter, only a matter of time till he blossomed into Bobby Bowden Jr.

They will likely be just as wrong now as they were then.

That means Mel Tucker saw it LOL Mel Tucker and Jeremy Pruitt both made a lot of calls and adjustments that bailed out Kirby as DC on a regular basis.

Is this a moral victory from the guy who can’t help but shit on supposed moral victories from UF fans? You make this too easy.

Blaming the refs is easier for the Georgia fans here than admitting that Kang Kirby shit the bed with a title on the line.

Two years in a row.

Looks like one to me.

Did the refs miss any calls on Georgia? I wouldn't know as I didn't study every play looking for missed calls cause.....my team won.
No, the closest on was the instant replay where mecole almost stepped out of bounds on the touchdown catch. Just google missed calls Uga vs bama. It’s all there for ya to see.

Oh I'm sure plenty of butthurt Georgia fans like you have found all the calls the refs missed against Bama.

I can't find a similar list of missed calls that favored Georgia. But again, we won the game, so we have no incentive to look for those calls.

Telling yourself the refs cost Georgia the game is easier than admitting that Kirby did.

I said the better team won. Go back and read my post

You also said you never expected it to be so close, and talked about key plays where you claim the refs missed key calls that hurt Georgia.

Obviously, you're trying to make the case that the game shouldn't have been close, but Kirby gets a Moral Victory for doing so, and would have gotten a real one, if those dastardly refs hadn't stolen it from him.

The reality is, Georgia had a great gameplan, Bama made halftime adjustments, and Kirby did not.

IOW, Kirby's coaching cost Georgia that game, not the refs.
