Mullen

Interesting. I thought Kirby has only been a HC for 3 years, isn’t that what you all say when looking for excuses for his lack of accomplishments. Apparently assistants get credit for the HC’s results now. In that case Mullen has two national championships. He’s clearly already one of the best HC’s in CFB. Good to know.
Insta was the one that brought assistant records into this... imagine that.

Georgia is 24-5 the last two years because of Kirby Smart. Georgia has swept the east the last two years because of Kirby Smart. Georgia has been damn close to knocking off Bama twice because of Kirby Smart. Running the table and winning national championships isn’t easy. It took Dabo 9 years to get his. I’ll take Kirby any day of the week over the others.

So you can't point to a single game and a single call Kirby made that won the game?

Don't feel bad, no other Dawg fan has been able to either.

Mullen has been taking jabs at UGA since taking the job. Kirby has owned Mullen. Spurrier owned UGA. One guy earned the right to talk, the other not so much.
1. Florida has owned Georgia if you know your history LOSER.
2. Speaking of LOSER, you spent your ENTIRE Sat. on here, why?

Georgia’s last NCAAM Championship? NEVER!

Georgia’s last National Championship in football? 1980! Wow that must really SUCK to be a fan of that athletically challenged school. Jim McElwain won 2 S.E.C. East Championships and that means what? You’ve said about 8,000 times how you’ve recruited the best in the nation. All the way to 3 losses last year and an ASS KICKING by Texas in your Bowl game after talking shit about not being in the playoff?

As you were posting this 3.999999999999999999999* Dan just picked up a commitment from another 4*. CB Avery Helm from Missouri City, TX.

13. UGly - 5 -- 1 - 4 - 0 - 0

6. UF/Dan 1st year -- Finishes 4-0 with a bowl win over #7 Mich.

8. UGly/4th&Dumb 3rd year-- Finishes 0-2 with a bowl loss to #15 Texazz

Yep, your guys a heck of a Leader alright... LMFAO! :D:D:D
Ok, insta. Since you are going to cut and paste the same bullshit about final rankings it’s time for a reality check.

Do you know the ONLY reason Florida ended at 6 using your hand picked poll? Because 6,7,8, and 9 lost their games thats it. The only reason. It’s not a given you’d finish ahead of Georgia otherwise. In these polls, when you lose you drop and when you win you rise. That’s a pretty stupid application that doesn't consider anything other than the what have you done lately routine. Georgia dropping after losing to Bama was ridiculous. Herbie was actually right for a change.

So keep auto posting about your ranking. It doesn't mean anything and no one remembers where anyone finished other than Clemson and Bama. It won’t help you next season. But tard on.

He made some pretty badass halftime defensive adjustments against Baker Mayfield in the rose bowl. Did you already forget about that?

I don’t think he actually calls the plays. But he should have overridden that and called the TO.
So you’re saying he doesn’t make the final call on a play like that? He’s the head coach. He may not call offensive/defensive plays but no coach just allows assistant coaches to call fake punts or fake FGs without the head coach giving it the thumbs up. You and I both know he called for the fake punt and then he didn’t call a TO when it was apparent it wasn’t going to work.

“I talked to the guys before the game about it; if we get an opportunity to run it, we’ll run it,” Smart said. “It was there. We just didn’t get an opportunity to get it snapped before they covered the guy.”

Here's another one that's never had fishing buddies or been on the corner doing the dozens.
Lol, You're a psychic. I've never done anything on the corner and really don't have fishing buddies. I don't care how much you try to insult me, you'll never get under my skin. Looking back through threads, you're the God of adolescent cyber bullying.

And if he’s a head coach that doesn’t give final approval of trick plays in critical times of a championship game you’d better hope your rivals recruiting becomes MAC level.
Like I said, he should have called the TO. What else do you need me to say?

Not try and cop out with a “well he doesn’t call the plays...” excuse. I get why you guys don’t want him to receive 100% of the blame for that call. You’ve bought in completely and anointed him the next goat. I recommend his method passing the buck though and blame the players’ poor execution of his masterful trick play that would have resulted in an easy 20-30 yards.

Much better than being the 'panties-n-a-wad twit' with nothing of any value to add to anything.

He does get 100% of the blame. And he gets 100% of the fake field goal at LSU blame. He’s listening to every call and could/should have overridden it. Better?

You're so smart and witty. That panties in a wad is so original. I've never seen someonet attack so many fellow posters for having an opinion. "Panties in a wad" plus an emoji .....You're borderline genius! We're in the presence of greatness. I forgot to mention Twit, you're a big, bad boy, typing away on that keyboard. Be careful not to hurt it, Mr Bigshot!

He “made” the call. Head coaches make calls like that. You and I both know that.

Ok fine, I'll give you that one.

And the following week, Saban's halftime adjustments by bringing in Tua caught him completely flat-footed and cost him a chance at a NC. So they cancel each other out.

Georgia fans rising up to defend Kang Kirby are the best.

Wait till he has his first 8-4 season. Same fans will be calling for his head and begging the AD to call Muschamp.

They really do think he's going to blossom into Nick Saban Jr. The delusion is quite comical to watch.

I believe that he already had an 8-5 season and UGA fans didn't call for his head. Georgia had a true frosh QB that year that had a big arm, but no O-Line.
Jim Cheney's playing calling was designed for a line that gives the QB time. Five of their eight wins was by a touchdown or less, so it could've been much worse, but it could've been much better as well. They lost to Vandy 17-16, however UGA had over 500 yds of offense to Vandy's 171. They lost to Ga Tech 28-27 and to Tennessee on a last play of the game hail mary. Their other losses were a blowout to Ole Miss and to us by a score of 24-10. We should've been able to beat that team by 5 tds

Are you serious? I bet Saban Sr is counting his blessings, because his team got handled both of the last two times they've played Georgia and needed miracles to pull both out. Even though Georgia didn't deserve it in my opinion to make the four team playoff, Saban Sr didn't want any part of them. Clemson used game tape from those two games to design a plan for the Tide and it worked well. Saban will make some changes and we will have to wait and see if they're enough or has his number been figured out? Time will tell!

It's not whining, big, bad boy is a compliment in my most sincere way. I've followed your posts and picture you being about 7'0 tall, a biscuit over 300lbs. Your Zzzzzzz's that you use are truly intimidating .Can you please make up one of your riddles about me? You're quite the Dr. Suess of this board.

Clemson has beaten Saban before and everyone was calling the "figured out" battle cry...then the next season he went in and wiped out Clemson. Same was said when Meyer and tOSU beat Bama. They rebounded nicely. They can't win them all. This figured out stuff hasn't held true yet.

The first time was a back and forth, score for score, contest. Saban made his adjustments and got the best of Clemson in the rematch, however even Saban knows his arse was handed to him in the NCG. Making adjustments to that whipping will be a daunting task .There's no one change here or there that will put a dent in that thrashing they took. We will have to wait and see.

Agree with you. What Clemson did to Bama isn't really anything new, at least not offensively. For a decade now uptempo spread offenses have torn his defenses up and he hasn't figured out how to deal with them. From Auburn to Ole Miss to A&M with Manziel to Clemson with Watson. A lot of that is because of how he builds his defenses.

The difference has been they've usually been talented enough to overcome even though they gave up points in bunches against those type teams. They moved the ball against Clemson too but Clemson held them down in the redzone so when Clemson kept scoring the game ran away from them.

CFB teams change dramatically from year to year. You are overstating the case.

Nope, they were transition 1-A. When a team moves up, they go from 65 schollys to 75, then to 85. In the 75 year, they are transition 1-A, as they are ineligible for the 1-AA playoffs. And that was the year they beat us.

But thanks for playing.
Yeah, much better

Rival trolls begging for some validation from their betters during 'talking season' is nothing new here. And they must come here to whine and snivel, because Gator fans don't care enough about them to bother going to their boards to post...

Gee, thanks. There goes your weak argument against Kirby. That was easy...

Cancels out? In that case, Kirby head to head against Mullen should cancel out all these silly arguments about Mullen being a better gameday coach.

Him blowing two chances at a NC due to coaching incompetence means he's not a weak coach?

LMAO! Ok bro.....like I said, give the man a lifetime contract with a $100M buyout. I won't shed a tear.

Saban was put in a bad position at the end of the 2017 season. He needed to replace his OC and DC, and he was about to lose Tosh Lupoi and Mike Locksley, who were two of his best recruiters. So he took the calculated risk of elevating them both to coordinators in order to keep them.

If he had to do it over again, I'm sure he would have let them both go and hire new guys. Lupoi in particular was a bad fit at DC, but he was also the staffs best recruiter so I get why Saban decided to roll the die on him. Just didn't work.

I said in the SEC and currently. Who fits that bill besides the Florida coach?

I don’t know. I was just saying that it happens and it’s not really all that noteworthy. I think it was said pretty jokingly also. I mean he was laughing at the time... now I wish he had said that by scheduling f$u you guys were just trying to put another guaranteed win on your schedule. That’s my kind of trash talk
