Losing 5 games in first year ever as a head coach = suckage.
Losing 4 games in your first year as a HC at a new program after having 9 years experience and winning a NC = sure thing.

I personally don’t think Jimbo is all that great myself. He’s a very good recruiter but I question his X’s and O’s and in-game coaching as well. Curious to see how he does at A&M.
Sumlin was a great recruiter too and left Jimbo with lots of talent. No reason to lose 4 with all he had. He did win a title at FSU but it was against auburn, so maybe there should be an asterisk next to it.

Different kind of talent. Kirby recruits from the inside out, richt from the outside in. Kirby puts more of an emphasis on recruiting the big uglies. Why do you think we push you around now?
Offensive line was terrible when Kirby took over. Kind of like yours will be this year...

Kirby isn’t all that much different then Muschamp. Same philosophies & style and pretty much cut from the same cloth.
After our game you are going to be wondering how this terrible Oline blocked well enough to score 40 on you.
I can assure you that Franks with that offensive line will be nowhere close to 40. He’ll be lucky to duplicate last year’s scoring output...
No. Richt recruited differently though. He basically built an ACCteam in the SEC. fast twitchy skill players but a lot of them were runts. Never recruited OL worth a damn. But the scores looked good because the guys he brought were generally highly regarded. And then of course he couldn’t really coach.
So glad we got a regular Nostradumbass posting here telling us what scores of games well into the future will be. Easily the most annoying poster on the Rivals network.
Richt’s oline was terrible, yet that oline led the way for the awesome running game UGA consistently had. And that line and running backs allowed UGA to run over everybody in 2017 with no passing game whatsoever except for late in the season. When Fromm first started he was barely completing 15 passes a game. Must have happened by help from god himself since they sucked so bad according to the resident dumbass here.

Jimbo inherits a spread option team meant to pass 45 times a game and tempo. Jimbo runs a pro style balanced offense that manages the clock. But Jimbo has no excuse in losing five games one of which took Clemson to the wire. You guys are dumb.

3rd Year (3 losses) -- 8. UGly - 21 - 28 (-7) #15 Texazz
#6 UF beat #7 LSU, #7 LSU beats #8 UGly, #8 UGly beats UF.
But both UF and LSU win their bowls vs higher ranked opponents, while UGly's 4th & Dumb loses to a much lower ranked team.
The reason that the ugly leghumpers end up lickin' their own nutts,,,, is because they can't FINISH!
Realize what is a two way street? The vast majority of this board is happy with Mullen's first season, I don't see a bunch of grandiose predictions beyond that. Hell you had posters here more than halfway through the season saying how Mullen wasn't the guy. I don't see a boatload of fans here predicting multiple titles, and impending dynasty, 30 point victories over other teams, and generally shit posting.

I don't think he's an elite coach. He's good, but not great. I do think he's a great recruiter, and at a school like A&M with the recruiting base it has and the insane amount of money.....being a good coach and great recruiter will win you a LOT of games.
Yep. Muschamp, to his credit, has actually improved a bit as a coach. We'll see if Kirby can match him.
