On Thursday, Governor DeSantis unveiled a legislative proposal to reign in unchecked Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) and drive transparency among prescription drug prices influenced by Big Pharma.
This proposal is an important part of the Governor’s efforts to lower prescription drug prices, reaffirms the state’s commitment to empower Floridians to make informed health care decisions, and demonstrates yet again that Governor DeSantis is committed to delivering for Florida’s seniors, who stand to benefit greatly from lower prescription drug costs.

Four years ago, at the start of his first term, Governor DeSantis pledged to secure $2.5 billion over four years for Everglades restoration and protection of our state’s precious resources.
This week, on the exact day pledge from four years ago, Governor DeSantis announced an additional commitment to continue this historic momentum and conserve Florida’s natural beauty for future generations. This secures an additional $3.5 billion toward Everglades restoration and water quality projects, which will bring his administration’s total investment to a record $6.8 billion — the highest level of funding in Florida’s history. Trump is going to systematically take down DeSantis and his establishment globalist friends. He has a lot more where that came from as DeSantis voted to give Obama full trade authority (with no amendments allowed) on that Pacific trade deal they were negotiating some years back to try and allow American workers to be screwed over. DeSantis and his crooked Rep establishment backers like Jeb Bush/Paul Ryan and their crooked donors aren't going to be able to beat Trump just by outspending him and having Fox News try and hide him.

Looking at Desantis history and things he has said some years back its easy to se where he would pay these big establishment donors off. Its things like trade agreements and H1B visas for cheaper workers etc. All things that don't come into play as a Governor for the most part. I think he would even pull a Bush and try some big amnesty program after seeing some of his past comments.
I'm a platform kind of voter. I don't worship at any individual politicians Alter....
And while I respect many of the things that DJT did as President, I still know that he has faults and I don't LOVE 'The Donald,' and I never have....

...First, explicit books that show pornography, teach kids how to upload nude photos, and introduce sexual orientation were on Florida schoolroom shelves for young children to read.
These same books were brought up in local school board meetings where parents refused to discuss or even look at the illustrations within the pages because they were not appropriate for public conversations.
...Then, the Left caught wind of the Governor’s action to take these books out of school libraries. They generated this farcical narrative that Governor DeSantis had banned all books from classrooms and schools were filled with empty library shelves.
...The hoax is finally over. Governor DeSantis addressed legacy media allegations and held a press conference to expose the truth.
The event was streamed through standard procedures: local news channels and Twitter. When the press conference began, the Governor played a 5-minute video showing the contents of the inappropriate books found in Florida schools to expose the lies about book banning peddled by the mainstream media. In an example of blatant hypocrisy, the live streams were cut because the contents contained “potentially sensitive content.”
If legacy media is afraid to air this material, why on earth should school-aged children have it shoved in their faces?
...Now, the public has finally been exposed to the truth thanks to Governor DeSantis’ leadership: Classrooms around America are pushing Leftist agendas with pornographic picture books, and the Governor is taking swift action to save Florida schools and children by removing these inappropriate books once and for all.
