LMFAO

Funny...when Grier got suspended Noles everywhere on this board....we lose to LSU, Noles on this board telling us how they know everything in the world about the Gator program, players, etc...where are all those Noles now? Tis tis...

I'm not going to lie, this is the absolute WORST place to be after a Nole loss, BUT I'm not going to dish it and then not take it. Last night especially sucked because I knew 100% Aguayo was going to make that kick.

It is what it is, though....any given Saturday. Curious to see today's AP poll...expecting lots of movement up/down.

Not sure how FSU's loss makes the SEC any less overrated.

Overrated compared to...what?

Can you find objective criteria that ranks the aggregate SEC teams worse than the aggregate teams of any other conference?

Not a few teams. But all the teams.

LMAO. Your QB situation is such a train wreck you had to bring in an outsider to keep from tanking. Which QB is going to lead this amazing 2016 FSU team, Sean McGuire??? QUOTE]

You do realize that FSU beat Clemson with Maguire and now you're complaining about FSU fans being confident about the 2016 Clemson game? Fisher has beaten both Clemson and Florida with 3 different starting QB's and you're going on about the QB situation.

Also, the #1 dual-threat QB is currently on FSU's roster redshirting. It's not a given that Maguire will be the starter.

FSU lost. I think most of us thought they would lose at least one or more games before the seasons end. It does not mean they will show up in Gainesville at the end of the year prepared to roll over. Expect a hard fought game that can go either way. Give credit to Mac for making this years team competitive enough that we all have faith we can pull out a victory against FSU this year. Don't be pompous enough to believe it can't go the other way either. Outcomes are decided on the field, not on a message board.

We know you need to find succor where you can, but of those three teams, only FSU lost to a 2-5 (now 3-5) unranked team.

I'm already over it. I doubt Bama fans will ever get over theirs. Michigan's was probably worse because they were actually leading.

I couldn't care less what GT's record is. It's the way it happened, I would have thought it was obvious.

My statement doesn't apply to you Alaskan...you post here more than I do...lol

I do not know if LSU is over-rated or not (I don't think that they are), but the SEC isn't as unstoppable as many predicted. TAM went down, Bama continues to struggle

I'd love to see your Top 10
and
your ACC teams that are comparable to LSU, Bama, Ole Miss and TAMU, if you feel they eixst

What? Bama can still win the SEC and get in the playoff. It is possible for FSU to win the ACC. But even if they do, I doubt they get into the playoff.

He may not be aware, but he told on himself...only way you can lose in that manner to a team like that and not be upset a day later is if you already accepted that your team wa way overrated and not going anywhere.

I don't think they were overrated before they played tech, but I'm having an OK Sunday. Now if they;re still in the top 15 I'd say they're overrated.

I kind of agree with this. FSU, up until last night, has done much better than I expected. I predicted at the beginning of the season they would be a three or four loss team. And that can still happen. But I also think it is just as likely they get to the end of the season with only two losses.

Compared to the preseason hype.

Currently there are 4 ACC teams ranked and 5 SEC. I'm only impressed with 2 and surprised by 1 (which by default impresses); LSU, Clemson, and UF.

You really like to cherry pick stats, don't you?

Again, every single measurement process has the SEC head and shoulders above the rest.

I think most everyone in this thread could likely admit GA Tech is a pretty decent football team and not a whole lot of shame in losing to them.

If Ga Tech were 5-2 going into the game, that might be an argument. however, 2-5, and 0-4 in the ACC, not so much.

My crystal ball says that UF has a better chance of beating FSU in 2015 than they do in 2016 or 2017. Do you disagree with that?

I disagree with that.

Your QB situation was so bad this year you brought in Captain Mediocre to run the offense for one year. Next year another brand new QB. UF will be in year 2 under McElwain, and the full playbook will be installed, and we will have two QB's with starting experience. After that, our far superior coaching staff will have their own players in place with just as much if not more talent as FSU's.

I believe FSU needs to get UF this year, it's going to be your last chance for a long time.

So far, Ga Tech *only* has wins over Albany, Tulane, and FSU

Blahblah blah blah blah. To me, I could be wrong but I doubt it, an above average to great coach takes whatever talent he has, and uses it to create a competitive if not championship caliber team on the field. Thank you COACH Mac!

Of course you do.

Why is the SEC overrated? As it stands right now there are 3 SEC teams that are realistically still alive for the playoff (UF, LSU and Bama). I'm not sure any other conference has 3 teams that can say that at this point in the season. That doesn't sound like overrated. Overrated would be if they only had 1 team still alive. That isn't the case.

Yes

That's actually the first I've ever heard a comment like this, from rivals or fans. Seems to come from very humble upbringings.
Yea, i agree with this. I saw him in a few interviews. He seems to be a decent guy. The only critique I can think of is that he has is poor judgement.

Noles will probably lose to Clemson but not Florida. Florida will not run on FSU to keep drives going.

What do you consider to be FSU's "signature"/ best win this year and what do you consider that team's "signature"/best win to be?

We don't have a "signature" win just yet, but we have a chance to get one when we go to Clemson. Ole Miss is you guys signature win, correct??
