Kentucky @ Florida

It's crazy how good Lagway is.. he's gonna be the #1 pick in the draft in two years. You don't make throws like that at that age, and especially against a Stoops defense, they simply had no answer for him which opened it up for Baugh..

I saw a bunch of freshmen on both sides of the ball winning the game, it's so funny because the irony of Napier.. I mean the very guys he recruited he hasn't played enough that are making the biggest difference all over the field, and it's just too little to late. Anybody with eyeballs could see these freshmen backs and Lagway were better, then Cormani Mcclain sits over there wasting on the bench as a 5 star and when he finally comes in he makes 2 plays on the ball better than we've seen in 5 years from our DB's. Picks one and scores, then prevents another one with his length after. Enjoy Lagway while you can, he's a freak.

He just needs to put some weight on and he probably could be a good one.
Yes, it was their backup QB but all these years we've seen our secondary get burned over and over yet McClain comes in and makes covering receivers look easy. He even broke up another pass.
If you noticed, more of Sling Blades backups have performed at a higher level.

Couple of positions and comments for U-guys....

620: The passing yards for Western Carolina QB Cole Gonzales. (Billy-G's son)
Gonzales completed 35 of 55, 63.6%, 17.7 Yds/Comp with 5 TD's in a 52-20 win against Furman.

W.Ca HC Kerwin Bell says hello.........

259: The passing yards for Gator's quarterback DJ Lagway.
He was 7 of 14, 50%, 37 Yds/Comp with 5 TD's in a 48 - 20 win over Kentucky.

Can you imagine DJ in Kerwin's offense???
==========

The Junior RB that bailed out on UF to go play for the UGly nuttlickers:
RB Trevor Etienne 5-9 205 Jr vs TX = 19 for 87 yds, 4.6 YPC, 3 TD's

His true Freshman replacement that the iG liked better than the ET drama queen:
RB Jadan Baugh 6-1 227 Fr vs UK = 22 for 106 yds, 4.8 YPC, 5 TD's.

OK but why no Max Brown or South FL 2019 offense results. The big thing is Lagway is hitting big shots down the field when they present themselves. GA will be a tough test and I hope Lagway has a chance to make things happen. Haven't watched replays that much but I am curious why Wilson is still lagging.

I'm sure Insta was impressed by Max Brown's stats vs Navy: 7-18 for 152 yards, with 2 TD's and 3 picks. Oh, the Naval Academy won, 51-17.

You two genius types need to now explain to me why Steve Young with the Buc's differed so much from his time with the Niners. The same would go for SOS's stats with the 49'ers vs Bucs...

Prolly to subtle for the twits to determine.....

Napier's 1st choices have to be injured out before the better player gets to show what he can do.
Nothing personal against Graham, but it's too bad that he didn't get injured out early in 2023....

Lagway - Baugh - Cormani being the most recent.....

Next man up and ball out

Good win for the Gators. Best the offensive line has played in 2 years. Granted, the mildcats are 3-4, but they've had our number the last 3 years. Defense made plays, oline blocked, Lagway only completed 7 passes but the kid likes throwing the ball deep for sure. He will need to make better decisions against the next 4 opponents, as he threw one pick and almost had 2 other throws picked off which could have changed the game.

I'll take a 35 yard per completion rate 6 days a week and 3 times on Sunday. 😂

As bad as I feel bad for Marshall, it's irritating how he reminds me of 8 toes Deion, who couldn't tackle worth a schitt even with 10 functioning toes.

Agreed! As long as it doesn't include 2-3 picks.
The only criticism (and it's petty and minor) of Lagway is that he's a little skittish of extending the ball and sliding a little too early on critical down and distance plays when he takes off and runs. I will admit, I don't think we have Jack Sheet behind him were he to get hurt and come out of the game, but sometimes he slides a little too early. That is my one and only criticism of him. I can live with errant throws and mistakes into coverage, but sliding too soon is a real thorn in my ass,

Why do you have a foot fetish for Deion? This man was the best corner to ever play the game and you constantly rag on him about having to have toes medically removed because of the game of football. He was also a pretty darn good baseball player too and even played in a baseball game and football game on the same day. Come up with some new material if you dont like the guy besides his feet troubles. Pretty uncool to rag on him for that.

He's got to get down quick. If he gets hurt then we seriously have no chance. We have 2 weeks to get him ready for the puppies.

The Braves had a couple of two way players. Deion and Brian Jordan were outfielders who also played DB for the Falcons.

But as far as I know Prime is the only 2 sport player to play 2 different sports games in one day and I remember Jordan as a much better baseball player than football especially when he played for the Cardinals and went to the Braves.

Was a great player. You most likely want him as the UF coach if your boy Lame Kiffin decides to stay at Ole Piss as well. As a baseball player, he was decent. That Atlanta Braves team of the 90's had enough talent to win without Deion. Funny how you ignore the fact that Atlanta had the best pitching staff in all of baseball at that time. Nobody here cares any more what Deion did as a player than you.

You are locked in on Deion's toes aren't you? I did not know he was missing a few. 😂
Like I GAF every time Tebow Time gets his feelings hurt over Deion and Lane Kiffin insults. He can be just as worse as Gator Theo when it comes to mean tweets from you know who.

I did not know he was a Deion fan. lol...........that clown never saw the inside of a FSU classroom. When he goes back for recognition days, I'll bet he has to hire a guide. The Blobby Bowden days were full of hilarious hypocrisy. Good times! I remember the Peter Warrick heistman trophy samples from Dillards. 😂

I was a huge fan of the Braves in the 90's and I know all about Smoltz, Glavine and Maddox and saw them pitch many times in St.Louis. I dont care if he becomes the Florida coach and dont think he ever will. I DO believe he was one of the best athletes of my generation and just think it's uncool to rag on a man about not having toes when he lost them by playing sports.

If you liked baseball (which I do obviously) in the south you were a braves fan. This was before the Rays. They had the best pitching trio in history. But don’t forget the forth pitchers. Steve Avery; Charlie Leibrandt, Kevin Millwood and Denny Neagle. Jim Rome once quipped “It takes a hell of a team to lose five World Series.”

Fact remains, you're the only one here who creams over Deion. He was a great athlete but a total douche.

I like Deion better since his career ended. There's no doubt that he is one of the best athletes to ever hit any kind of turf. Best cover corner ever.
I also remember him easily getting into crack head Michael Irvin's head during the 1994 season. I do remember the NFC championship but I also believe San Fran also beat Dallas during the regular season. I actually believe San Fran still would have beaten Dallas in the NFC title game with or without Deion as Dallas had Barry Switzer as their coach, not Jimmy Johnson. I also remember crack smoker Irvin got so pissed about Jimmy getting fired he threw a trash can to I can't remember where.

If Lagway shows up this game we can win. He is special....

I'd rather see a few more called plays for a roll out with a run /pitch / pass option, as he is excellent on his throws on the run. His threat to run makes the pitch/pass more effective imo.
