They say that sometimes perception is reality... Sometime before Jan 6 Trump was making speeches and he encouraged his followers to go to the capitol and "peacefully" protest. I thought that was stupid even before the FBI was able to choreograph and instigate this peaceful protest into a riot to be used against him. So now I am saying before he does this it will be stupid for him to testify before this "kangaroo" committee. There is nothing to be gained and everything to lose. Let it go Mr. Trump.
I see this a different way. They were betting on Trump ignoring the subpoena to complete their fraudulent narrative. So now Trump has turned the tables on them by having it broadcasted live so their dirty backroom editing is off the table............... and they are shitting their pants.
I have no idea what their thinking or planning is and really don't care but if you think their presentation is going to be fair and honest you are going to be disappointed.
Doesn't matter what their presentation is going to be. In a publicly broadcasted forum, the "Committee" is going to be utterly exposed. That's why many of us believe they'll never allow it. Trump is cunning and fast on his feet. If they tried that nonsense it would become a spectacle they truly will regret, Trump won't be the loser.
Funny, if the Jan 6 Committee was REALLY investigating the incident, wouldn't they have brought Trump in at the begininng? WHY now?

Adam Schiff stated that it was known 10 DAYS prior to Jan 6 that the Proud Boys were planning the attack. 10 DAYS. SO thats means Nancy Pelosi KNEW at the time, when, 2 days prior to Jan 6, she told Trump's people NO THANK YOU to the offered National Guard. ALSO, never been asked, BUT why did Pelosi have her daughter there on Jan 6 filming??? Almost as if Pelosi knew something was going down. Hmmmm.

They don't want him to testify. They are trying to save face and find a reason to close this hearing. They thought they would 'scare' Trump into not showing up, then they could say 'Well that tells us all we need to know, Trump must be guilty!' and then they close up shop.

Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson is cooperating with a Georgia investigation into former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state, according to reports.
Hutchinson, who rose to fame after becoming a star witness for the Jan. 6 committee earlier this summer, could offer investigators information on what was happening behind closed doors inside the White House as Trump sought to reverse his election loss to President Joe Biden, according to CNN. Hutchinson has already been cooperating with the Department of Justice in its separate efforts to investigate Trump’s efforts to overturn election results.
Hutchinson’s involvement with the Georgia investigation was not previously known.
