We have the Republican front runner 50 points ahead in polling, and a significant portion of Republicans are saying we MUST support the guy that's 50 points behind.

We currently have the most popular Republican the party has ever produced....and probably 25-33% of pubs are saying we need to Just Move On and support the guy that is losing by 50 points.

People ask how can dems stay in power if they are so evil and incompetent. It's cause sadly, pubs often beat them on at least one of those fronts.

The media, big tech, the establishment, the cabal and social media will play this narrative until the end. mMOST people are very unaware of what is really going on.

Yep. The majority of the Just Move On crowd wants to move on cause they are listening to the media telling them they better move on.

We get the leadership we deserve.
My thoughts? I think DeSantis is running for two reasons. More national exposure to run for real in 2028. Then there is a chance the cabal will try to prevent Trump from running in 2024 with their dirty bags of tricks and prosecutions leaving DeSantis as the new front runner by default. DeSantis isn't stupid I don't think, I think he knows he'll only get the nomination this time is if that occurs. If both Trump and DeSantis were wise, they'd stop the mud slinging towards each other because it's helping neither one of them in the big picture.

The hate isn't so much Trump as a human (for the most part), It's the hate of him saving a sinking ship they are against. Trump is for the people and the elites do not want to give up control. It's like they are handed a gun with the game already sighted. All they have to do is pull the trigger. But instead, they decide to use their own bow and arrow with the rubber tip. There's no other way to describe the lunacy except for the fact they do not want to lose control to the people. Trump was a legitimate threat to their power structure. AND Trump just might expose all the corruption. This fight to hold on to power and anonymity is unlike anything in history. Unbelievable.

All said sounds legit. But Trump will NOT play nice. He will begin to rip DeSantis apart.

Problem is. Desantis has already moved to the middle. He did it long ago, most just haven’t been paying attention. All you have to do is listen to him, he is telling everybody that he is a centrist. Aka Bush’s 3rd term.

He's a politician, while Trump is not. Politician should be a four letter word. As long as Trump is on the ticket, I'll be voting for him. (Trump)

Yep. But since we haven't secured the 2024 election, it will be stolen as well. The Just Move On crowd somehow can't see that cause they are too busy cheerleading for getting Trump out of the race.

DeSantis has 0% chance of ever being President.

This is Trump's greatest character flaw. Nevertheless, I'll take all of the good that comes with one personal failing.
Character flaw or biggest asset?

People want someone who says what they think the further we devolve into Wokeism.

I don't love everything Trump says, but he's popular because he ran out of effs to give a long, long time ago.

DeSantis is another NeoCon War Monger in the spirit of George W. Bush.

HARD PASS!
He certainly is morphing into an establishment type looking at who he's taking money from and surrounding himself with.

He'd still be better than Biden though...look at who he takes money from.

VERY concerned about this. I expect this to happen. They are SO powerful

Same. Wish he was not like that...but it is what it is. We KNOW how he performs...even when everyone is trying to illegally bring him down. Imagine what he could do if people just let him be?

One hell of a lot better chance than you do being elected dogcatcher.

So I was watching the news a few days ago, and they were talking about Brandon's advanced age....and someone made a point that is Trump goes down this path...he has 100% chance to win. Life expectancy for males is 86 yrs old. 60% of males die before they reach that age. If Brandon dies while in office...who is President?? Trump needs to RAM THIS HOME starting today, and never let up.

I agree it is sometimes a double edged sword. But for those of us that have been married at least once, it is not always wise to get the last word in. 😂

Good point…. but most of the mud is being thrown by Trump, or perhaps more accurately, by PACs and other interest groups loyal to Trump. To hear Trump and his acolytes tell it, you would hardly even know that Biden is POTUS.

That's because all Trump supporters up till 6 months ago viewed DeSantis as Trump's successor. I was probably the first poster here that said that should and likely WOULD be the plan.

Then Trump started saying DeSantis was in bed with the RINOs. Since then, all the RINOs have come out and endorsed him and there's no shortage of 'political experts' all verifying that the Bushes and Karl Rove are running his campaign.

Trump was right. Again.

I'm not pissed at Trump for calling out DeSantis, I'm pissed at DeSantis for getting in bed with the RINOs. He was all but guaranteed 8 years in the White House till he did that.

Ah well.

You’re crazy if you think Trump doesn’t give a f what people think. Most of his diarrhea of the mouth is about HIMSELF because what people think about him is ALL he cares about. He’s a textbook narcissist. Even his supporters know that to be true.

Besides, most of what Trump says about anti wokeism he says because he knows it will resonate. That’s different from saying it without giving a f about consequences. He’s saying those things specifically BECAUSE he gives a f about the consequences.

I think that he's trying to position himself as a moderate as compared to Trump.

FWIW, I agree that it isn't working.

These politicians who don't stick to what got them there annoy the hell out of me.

He's not popular because he's acted like a moderate, he popular because he's been a little Trumpian while being more classy about it.

This is why I think DeSantis is running. I think there are multiple schemes running at once.

I think the Bushes went to DeSantis and pitched him on running. They said they will support him, pubs want someone else other than Trump. They told him they would run his campaign, while DOJ works to take out Trump 'legally'. So it will end up being DeSantis vs Hiden. Bushes tell Ron that worst case scenario, we all make a shit ton of money cause there's a ton of pubs that want to give money to a Trump opponent, but don't want to be seen donating to a dem. I would suspect DeSantis could raise up to a billion being that guy. The Bushes want a big slice of that.

As that is happening, I think the Bushes have a deal in place with the Deep State that IF they take out Trump, then DeSantis gets taken out in the general via another stolen election. I'm sure the Bushes have told the DS "No no, we can control Ron!", but I doubt the DS believes that.

I think in Ron's mind, the worst that will happen is he will make a hundred million or so, so why not?

But again, 2024 election only happens if the dems think they can steal it again. If they don't think they can, then they will manufacture a reason to suspend it.

Obama and Biden aren't narcissist's? Tell me more.

EVERYONE who's reached this level in politics is extremely self centered - the difference with Trump is he's done in the private sector and the public...so yea, he's pretty full of himself. You can take or leave that part of his personality, I can understand it's a turn off if you hate him and think his bravado isn't earned.

And if you're insinuating that Trump truly isn't against the Woke agenda you don't know his platform at all...and he knows it will resonate because his base is sick of it (and so is he).

All of this is why Trump is so unique and we'll probably not see another politician like him in our lifetime - he's got FU money and he doesn't answer to donors.

The odds you'll ever find another conservative billionaire willing to put him or herself through this ringer are nearly zero. If a guy like DeSantis can be bought I'm not holding out much hope.

I saw at least a partial roster of DeSantis campaign team ( I believe it was a comprehensive list ) and there were no names on it that I recognize as Bush connected figures. Maybe there is someone in the that has a career history that I am unaware of.....but I didnt see any Bush acolytes at all.

Fair enough but not a moderate...rather a moderate as compared to Trump. Those are two different things.

And like me, his campaign might believe that Trump is VERY likely to win the nomination but much less likely to win the general.

While some of you might think that RDS has turned into a RINO, I disagree. I think the idea was to market himself as a more reasonable alternative to Trump that still retained the parts we like. Again, it hasn't worked...but I believe that was the strategy.

And like me, his campaign might believe that Trump is VERY likely to win the nomination but much less likely to win the general.
I simply cannot see how anyone believes this UNLESS they also believe the 2020 election was fair and legal.

That's not an accusation, I'm just trying to make this make sense in my head.

Hiden has overseen the worst economy since the late 70s. That alone would likely make it impossible for him to win a free and fair election against any pub candidate with a pulse.

Instead, the pubs are running the most popular candidate in party history...and you think he's LIKELY TO LOSE????

Again, not accusing, but this makes zero sense. UNLESS.....you believe the 2020 election was free and fair. Then it fits.

Obviously that's not what happened, thus the confusion.
