Barely beating a team is still beating them, is it not?

If barely beating a team cannot be counted as winning, let me know please. We then can reviews some close wins by both Florida and FSU
Being taken into overtime by FAU is worse than losing to another team in a power 5 conference. He will lose to some more of them. Just give him time.

He's barely beaten quite a few vastly inferior teams and had to go into overtime for a win over FAU. I think that means "yet".

In Jimbo's first year he also went 10-4 while playing in the weak ACC, losing to unranked teams and barely beating Clermson at home by 3 points. Considering Mac took over a team in disarray in the SEC, I think he did a great job, and if we didn't lose Grier, we would have had a better game with FSU this year. It won't keep happening and those of you who are NOT Igloo and 99 will disappear.

FSU's 2010 schedule was every bit as good as UF's 2015 schedule. Probably even a little better.

We convincingly beat the number 3 team in the country, you lost convincingly to the #10 team. You play in the ACC --- nuff said. But my point was to respond to the other nole.

The SEC East was awful in 2015. I'm not saying the ACC in 2010 was all that, just that the SEC East in 2015 was nothing to write home about. UF lost 1 SEC game in the regular season in 2015 to LSU by 7 points. But lost to FSU at home by 25 points. Point is there isn't that much difference between the ACC and the SEC East in 2015. The SEC West is another matter.

You know very well that if our offense had any kind of a pulse at the end of the year, we probably beat you in the Swamp. The point difference ended up being so great because our offense couldn't let our D catch its breath. If any of our patchwork QB depth this year pans out, you might be in for a rude awakening at Zook Field this year.

How/why did so many of you losers come out of the woodwork so recently?

Still doesn't change the fact that despite the fact that your offense had no pulse, you still didn't lose an SEC East game. Even beat Georgia 27-3 with that pulseless offense. But lost to us by 25. Like I said, the SEC East wasn't very good in 2015. Now that can easily change going forward but it doesn't change what it was in 2015.

I'm only posting this because so many of you guys rip apart the ACC when there is strong evidence the SEC East isn't very good either.

Like MJ stated , you make a claim but the facts don't support you here since UF won the TOP. I could be mistaken but didn't Grier avg. about 200 yds./gm vs teams with lower ranked defenses than FSU? As to the 2016 game , your claim is as valid as anyone's.

Not in the 2nd half, when you scored your garbage TDs.

OK? So make your case, instead of making a claim.

But, if you want to be taken seriously, use some facts.

I'm not going to spend hours researching it. It's not that important to me. "ACC...nuff said" isn't an argument either. FSU played an excellent schedule in 2010. As Schmidty has already pointed out, I'm not sure you guys want to play the ACC/SEC game with Fisher and McElwain.

UF ran 78 plays to FSU 58. The TOP was 32 min (UF) to 28 min for FSU. penalties were 7 each, and no TO. Score was 13 to 0 after 3 qtrs. I don't remember ever seeing TOP by qtr. but in light of these numbers I find it difficult to see how FSU could have dominated 4th qtr TOP but still come up 5 min short for the game. Ex. for FSU to achieve a 10 min to 5 min. 4th qtr TOP- which might validate your claim, then UF would have had to have done almost the same 9 min UF to 6 min. FSU for the previous three qtrs.

In 2010, FSU played Oklahoma on the Road, BYU at Home and UF at Home for our Non-Conference games.

We played UNC (beat Tennessee in the Music City Bowl), NC State (who had Russell Wilson at Quarterback), Maryland (9 win team in 2010), Miami (9 win team in 2010), Clemson (took National Champion Auburn to OT on the road), Virginia Tech (won 11 games in 2010) from the ACC.

We played a total of 10 teams of our 14 games in the regular season and postseason that made a Bowl game in 2010.

Like we've said, FSU played an excellent schedule in 2010.

I won't be going anywhere. Been posting off and on here since 2003. The only thing that would change is more gators would be here posting.

Also beat South Carolina in the bowl game.

Funny, I thought Florida played three additional games in the SEC West, besides the six from the East.

Sure, things will change in your favor sooner or later, but in 2010 UF was in the beginning of a regression and FSU was getting stronger as a program. In 2016, unless something changes, FSU is still getting stronger, and despite the 10 win season, the jury is still out on the direction UF is taking. In the current streak FSU has going, 2/3 games have not been competitive. Do you believe you will win one of the next 2 games in this series? If so, why? I could see 6+ win streak for FSU. We will have to wait and see, but you are correct, nothing lasts forever.

BS. If not for the botched Muschamp debacle the SOW would have no advantage today and in fact, was lucky to win Winston's last game AT HOME against UF. Had Grier not shat the bed you'd have gotten an ass whupping this year. Dumbo is Ron Zook, nothing more, nothing less. Good recruiter, liar extraordinaire and shitty game day coach whose team plays in the league of tallest midgets year in and out. Enjoy while it lasts, I really hope no other school poaches him because we like him where he is.

The evidence is there for all to see. Call the SEC daddy nulls. In fact, if not for Auburn going to sleep on a punt the ACC would have ZERO titles during the BCS era. Tell us, how many does the SEC have? LMAO!

Zook made UF considerably worse after taking over. Jimbo has made FSU considerably better. Isn't that the measure of a coach?

You're hilarious. If Barn could tackle, and cover, and hold a lead etc. If UF didn't make a bad hire. If our QB didn't cheat. If if if.

If our QB didn't cost the university a cool million in hush money..........and still on the hook for more.

Zook took over from a coach that just won a BCS bowl game in a blowout. Jimbo took over for a coach that barely had winning teams for the better part of a decade.

Since Fisher took over at FSU, UF is 9-3 vs. their SEC rivals Tennessee and Georgia and 1-5 vs. FSU. Funny how only Ron Zook 2.0 benefited from UF's slide.

So, FSU would have paid all that money out had Winston not been accused of rape?

Shaaaaaaaaazzzzaaaaaam!
No, had the accused not been Jameis then the money grab would never have happened. She refused to press charges until Jameis got famous (pun intended). Alaska is partly right and partly wrong. TPD (action or inaction) had nothing whatsoever to do with the settlement. It was the school not dotting their i's and crossing their t's with the train wreck called Title IX. Had FSU initiated an investigation into the false report (which would have found nothing) then they would have had more weight to fight it, pure procedure and nothing more. Title IX has become a political monster and I expect a backlash against it in the future. In fact, it's already starting.

LOL, delusional is claiming Jimbo Fisher is not a great coach, taking a 7-6 team to a natty in four years and then back to the playoff with an undefeated season the next year.
He was effectively in charge while Booby was changing his Depends underwear. Fisher has a long history of underachieving as an offensive play caller. He didn't do shit until UM and UF went into the tank after Meyer went into the fetal position. Those are facts, and you'll see soon enough. In fact, the Null alumni were this close to sending Dumbo packing prior to that. Fisher under Saban wasn't all that spectacular, but I suppose nulls have short memories of that as well.

You have no idea how wrong you are about the final years under Bowden.

Chuck Amato was more in charge then than Jimbo till Bowden was gone. In fact Jimbo reported to Amato. He had very little say. He won a previous natty under Saban as OC so you lose that one too.

As to Miami and UF going into the tank. Miami was already in the tank after Davis left but they just didn't know it. Bobby had beaten UM 3 out of five before Jimbo was HC.

As to UF, whenever we say that you guys were beating us under Meyer was because of Bobby getting old and out of touch you say we are making excuses. So what if Meyer was unhappy with his fans. No excuses. Jimbo beat him, Muschamp and McElwain.

Nobody serious in our fanbase wanted Jimbo gone ever. Sorry.
