In before the gun confiscation NUTS.....

Are you pulling my leg or are you really having a tough time?

Posting BS from an anti-gun source has exactly the same value as posting BS from a pro-gun source.

The difference between you and me is, I recognize both sources as BS, you believe everything from pro-gun sources.
So you're admitting that you are intentionally posting 'BS' information here?
Yes. I'm hoping it will help you understand how partisan people provide slanted information.
So you're admitting to posting inaccurate information here. That's the definition of being a troll. @FresnoGator am I wrong?

I'm posting slanted information. I didn't read it but I'm sure there are carefully chosen and manipulated facts included.....just like you should recognize from the pro-gun sources.

You really need to understand what 'troll' means. A 'troll' posts comments intended to fire up specific targets. 'Inaccurate' has nothing to do with it.

Neither of you is worth dealing with. Frankly your continued consumption of oxygen offends me.

And the troll knows that the fastest way to fire up specific targets is to lie.

Laws need to keep up with the times. I'm sure you'll agree other than the 2nd.
A statute is different than a constitutional amendment codifying a right. The latter has a much higher bar to cross. It would be nice if you spent time defending rights and freedoms. The amendments that need repeal are the 16th and 17th amendments. The former makes all of us serfs and the latter destroyed real federalism.

The fix is simple. People who are too dangerous to own a gun because of their prior actions should be institutionalized: Either jail or an asylum.

That will probably fix 95%+ of it.

I disagree. A 'troll' can simply post a fact that he believes will ignite people's emotions
You aren't admitting that you post facts, you are admitting that you post in your words 'BS' and slanted information.

You just believe that people who oppose your positions are lying and you want to call them 'trolls'.
Dude you mocked jb and claimed he couldn't see that YOU were posting 'BS'. I even asked you to clarify that's what you did, and you happily agreed.

THEN I tagged a mod, and suddenly you start backtracking. Now you are posting 'facts', not BS. Now anyone that calls you a troll just disagrees with you.

Everyone sees what you are doing. Everyone.

Statutes and amendments are both rules written by men because they sounded good at the time.

You like the 2nd but not the 16th and 17th. Some would have you believe that you shouldn't question anything in the constitution.

Does it enhance the liberty (not licentiousness) of the individual or does it empower gubmint over the individual? Amendments are hard for a reason.

He thinks we're all one person here in the "echo chamber".

DC posted he doesn't like the 16th (which made federal taxes possible) or the 17th (which allowed states to directly elect Senators).

Since DC doesn't like those, EVERY Trumper doesn't like those.

This is the troll, he's assigning opinions to you based on what others say so you'll engage with him. Same reason he ignores logical arguments about guns...I bet he couldn't care less about guns. He is just taking a position, putting all of us into a basket of deplorables, and posting things that will almost certainly result in a reply that he'll ignore (assuming it's a logical argument).

This his entire schtick. It's a ploy to get people to engage...play "the middle" against partisans and bolt as soon as the argument gets factual and real. But at least someone paid attention to him.

Check his profile. He's been at it since 2002. Just on this board, IIRC, he has another 100,000 posts or so on the main board.

25 years of trolling on the internet.

What an amazing life.

Not the chart about how a man is responsible to protect his family. It is EXACTLY the same today, just like the 2nd amendment
I think that's true. There are different levels of trolling.

I also think that you presented information that is biased and slanted, although not necessarily factually inaccurate based on a particular perspective.

I also think that the guys on this site know where you were coming from and it is their choice to engage you or ignore what you have to say.

That said , I am not getting rid of any posts or any posters at this point ...

By 'gun nut' you mean anyone that believes we should follow the Constitution as written, right?

The irony is, that's about the most extremist position you could take.

And it still doesn't change the fact that you continue to be dishonest about this entire conversation.
I discovered this on page 44.

Id say hes an excellent troll.

I do not want you to get rid of anyone. Theo is mild. Ray was RIDICULOUS. He and DMF needed to go. I am just calling out the obvious. I like Theo here believe it or not.

How do you get so confused about what I say? You could even go back a reread.

Yes, some of you want a right wing echo chamber.

My comment about the poster not liking the 16th and 17th was related to gun nuts, not Trumpers. Gun nuts are 'horrified' that anyone could question the 2nd, but apparently not the 16th and 17th.

Guns nuts pretty much all have exactly the same opinion. They've been practicing marching in order for a long time.

Trumpers are a much newer group. They will occasionally let their guard down and question Trump, particularly if they don't think any non-trumpers are listening.

If I started an anti-Trump thread, I would be a 'troll'.

If I started a pro-Trump thread, I wouldn't be.

Is that not correct?
Again, pure brilliance from @fatman76

Realistically, how many guns do you need to 'protect your family'?
How many attackers? What guns or weapons do they have? Do I have the jump on them? How trained are they? Answer these questions, and I will answer. I want to have superior firepower. As the old adage goes...I do not want to be bringing a knife to a gun fight. Or a 5 round revolver to a semi automatic 30 rd magazine gun fight. So to cover my bases...I need a SWARY of different weapons!

Speaking of weapons:
1. Florida needs to pass open carry . NOW. It is a shame we don't have it now.
2. Repeal Rick Scott and Pam Bondi's Red Flag Laws
3. Repeal Rick Scott and Pam Bondi's age 21 for purchasing long rifles.

Scott and Bondi were horrible anti-2nd Amendment and Florida is paying for it. The fact an 18 year old can join the military and be trained on proper use of weapons but can't buy one from the gun shop back him is ridiculous.

The U.S. Constitution does not place a limit on how many guns we can have. A free citizen should be able to have as many as they can afford or want to collect. Our laws restrict ownership of certain weapons such as a machine gun or nuclear bomb. The amount of guns one has that are legal is immaterial.

Personally I am downsizing because I am not as young as I once was. But I still own a large collection and could protect my family should it come to that. Fortunately for me , I live in Florida which is a law and order state. Thank you Governor DeSantis.

I do have a problem with wild hogs where I live so I keep the appropriate weapon locked and loaded when Mr. Razorback shows up with his clan.

Theo thinks the Constitution is outdated, so we do not have to follow it. In other words..he is a democrat.

He may be one of many in this country that would like to throw out the constitution and rewrite one based on Karl Marx doctrine.

The men in America were armed before we even had a U.S. or Constitution. Controlling individual arms was not a thought that crossed their minds. Owning arms was such importance to our founders that they made it the 2nd Amendment. So who are we to question their wisdom.

They understood what a tyrant was and wanted to make sure individual citizens had a defense against it. The 2nd Amendment was not a part of our constitution to protect my right to shoot rabbits in my garden for breakfast.

Yes sir, it is only common sense. I wish liberals would concentrate more on our inner cities like Chicago if they wanted to do something about gun deaths. Sometimes you wonder if they want it the Chicago Way. Minorities shooting minorities at random.
