Over half the deaths were suicide. That's not a gun violence issue, it's a mental health issue.

There are a ton of ways to commit suicide, there's little guarantee that those deaths would be prevented if firearms didn't exist. Adjusting for that accidental deaths like car crashes far outweigh the impact of firearms.
It also was trending in the right direction until 2020, when many young people's lives were derailed by lockdowns (it was trending down for years until it began to climb in 2014, then surged 33% in 2020).
So maybe we have a mental health issue and blaming the inanimate object is a cop out?
Now, you want to talk about the data in the link I sent? Does that data matter?
