I ducked out of work and am having beers and watching now. I have got a few chuckles out of it so far.
It’s amusing even when they score, just to see them so fired up to score in the Walk-ons Independence Bowl.
What did you expect when you use aome backhanded method to keep some meaningless streak alive. FSU doesn’t belong in a bowl.
It's like Nebraska's sellout streak. Some statistic that is cool to spout off about when you can't talk about championships.
No doubt the NCAA used what they call "wiggle room" to avoid the embarrassment.
It's only 5 in a row and 7 of the last 8 actually. perhaps it only seems like 10. That is unless you're referring to post season bowl game streak where every credible source ( SI, SB Nation, bleacher, ESPN, 247, Scout, etc) lists a new record of 36 for FSU.

We're just having a little fun. With no bowl game of our own we have little choice but poke fun at those still playing. Congrats on the win.
Now we can look to the Orange Bowl and the " Turnover Chain"!

Yeah GaTech is where i landed. Fsu just wasnt in the cards for my college career but i dont pick my academics based on my favorite football team lol not sure anyone does.
Credible source? How about the official source....the NCAA? Those other 'sources'' are media who just throw crap out to get clicks.
The NCAA is no better and actually is worse since they are actually supposed to be fair,impartial and credible. UNC walking away laughing is the latest example of the joke. Another ex. of NCAA : Ron Dayne set NCAA total rushing record but 2 yrs. later NCAA gave it to SDSU Pumphrey by counting yds. gained in bowl games. Pumphrey had 200+ yds in bowl games to surpass Dayne by about 100 yds. The fact that NCAA would not count the 750+ yds that Dayne got in bowls should clearly indicate the integrity of the NCAA.
However, the Seminoles have still played in 36 consecutive bowls whether the NCAA says so or not. No one else has EVER done that.
