I would say DeSantis is pretty focused and the results of the State Legislature prove that. RD can walk and chew gum at the same time.
He is building a coalition and passing historic Florida state law at the same time. Compare that to a dementia patient in the White House and a bitter old man who spends most of his campaign funds trying to stay out of jail.
It is time to move on and solve some of America's problems, not continue with the old.

I am confident these issues will work out. If DeSantis is not the nominee he is still the Governor of Florida. We are in good hands and have a very long, conservative bench of Floridians ready to step in if DeSantis does become President.
Under DeSantis the Democrat Party in Florida is toothless and contained to a few counties. Democrats control counties with large universities but the rest of us are free from their tyranny. He gets things done and the proof is in the legislation being passed in Tallahassee.
Florida’s legislature has always been dominated by conservatives. Liberals and moderates may move here from out of state, but they are not in the fratty, good-ole-boy, powers-that-be club, like the John Thrashers of the world, who really run things.

John Thrasher couldn’t even properly run Florida State University after he left the Legislature. He and most of the Leg are simps who just say the right slogans and get elected. He caved to the bureaucrats who worked in Administration and got the Francis Epps statue removed...a family who donated land to build FSU. His sin was that his family owned some slaves. He also caved to those woke POS’s who wanted a contractor and former FSU player and mega donor removed as a contractor from University projects because they found a photo of him dressed as Bob Marley for a private Halloween party 30 years ago. The problem with AZ is that Katie Hobbs has effectively signed over 'election integrity' to Runbeck. Which means that for all intents and purposes, the dems are now in charge of determining if the dems cheated in AZ. That's why you haven't seen me reference any poll from that state, cause it's basically pointless.
So pubs can forget any pub candidate winning AZ. This is why I tried to tell @goldmom that 'just move on' was playing into the dems hands, but maybe that's ok with her, as long as the guy she hates can't win.

Imo the Rep primary winner either wins or loses. I lean to a recession making it a win but there are a few who think the 2 big pork bills will prevent that until about election time. I doubt that myself and think one is likely to start in Q3 or Q4s numbers.
