How long does Ron DeSantis stay in 2nd place to Trump in primary polling? Will they pull the plug on him before he announces?

Doesnt matter if it's right or left. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove.

With the right it doesnt matter what you can prove most times and with the left a made up Ukraine accusation is more than enough to impeach a POTUS.

I'm confused, they launch a 'Fight Democrats, Not Republicans' ad, then the ad is about fighting a republican?

Sounds like establishment type projection to me.

It just shows they know they are bleeding from Trump's attacks on DeSantis. I think they would just tap out if not for the Dems bringing that joke NY case.

I wonder if Haley could ever get some traction with what is going on now. Problem is they dont want her too strong before SC.
Wow. I think being less than 10 points ahead of Nikki might be an even bigger worry for DeSantis than trailing Trump by 30.

He's gonna have to announce he's running soon. He SHOULD get a bump in the polls when that happens.

lol Trump supporters need to be ex- communicated. Not too long until we are the majority "deplorables" in our own party. Its too bad we have the numbers unlike the Bernie bros to prevent the party and media from taking us out in the primary.

Team Desantis is begging Trump to stop the pudding fingers ad????
Ignore him. He’s not one of what you might call the “gifted kids”.
You have to laugh. He doesn’t realize he’s the gift that keeps on giving to the Dims.

FNC had better watch themselves. Their ratings are starting to not do as well as they have been. There are many of us that watch WAY less after election night 2020. Ther DNA is NOT conservative....they just make good business decisions because there is really no competition for them
Right, after they helped run OANN off cable.... 😡

Fox is just the only somewhat conservative group now.
IF OANN came back, I'd dump Fox in a NY second, except maybe for Gutfeld, they can at least make me laugh.

This is a “planted” article by opposition research to give the exact impression you’re peddling.
The guy is a huge Trump supporter and a member of Trump’s Mar A Lago club. He’s never been an RDS supporter.

Looks like Pompeo dropped out, though I still think he’d be a viable running mate.

Would make a good fit for DeSantis if the establishment is truly in his ear. Course in another month DeSantis may be the top choice as VP for Haley if the polls keep cratering for him.

The blind Trumpers claim that a DeSantis PAC response --- to months of DJT's constant personal attacks on Ron,,,, is an attack? WTF???

Now that's just plain funny to me,,, but so typical of them.....
😒
=====

The last several decades have ushered in a dramatic political realignment, as the GOP has broadened its appeal to a more diverse working class (patriots), and Democrats have become the party of wealthier, more-educated (brainwashed Socialist limousine liberal) voters.

The last several decades have ushered in a dramatic political realignment, as the GOP has broadened its appeal to a more diverse working class (patriots), and Democrats have become the party of wealthier, more-educated (brainwashed Socialist limousine liberal) voters.

Trump is destroying that globalist establishment bum DeSantis. He made him and now he can erase him.

Okay, I've finally had enough of the feveredbrains claims that DJT MADE Ron DeSantis.

He was a member of the Little League team from Dunedin National that made it to the 1991 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.[24][25] DeSantis attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Dunedin High School,[19] graduating in 1997.
After high school, DeSantis studied history at Yale University. He was captain of Yale's varsity baseball team and joined the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.[25][26] He was an outfielder on that team; as a senior in 2001, he had the team's best batting average at .336.[27][28][29][30] While attending Yale he worked a variety of jobs, including as an electrician's assistant and a coach at a baseball camp.[19]
DeSantis graduated from Yale in 2001 with a B.A., magna cum laude.[31]
After Yale, he taught history and coached for a year at Darlington School in Georgia.[32]
He subsequently attended Harvard Law School, graduating in 2005 with a Juris Doctor cum laude.[33][34]

WAS DJT THERE COACHING RON UP, OR BEING HIS CUM LAUDE TUTOR???

In 2004, during his second year at Harvard Law, DeSantis was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and assigned to the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG). He completed Naval Justice School in 2005. Later that year, he reported to the JAG Trial Service Office Command South East at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, as a prosecutor. He was promoted from lieutenant, junior grade to lieutenant in 2006.
He was then stationed at Joint Task Force Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO), working directly with detainees at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.[35][36][37] The records of DeSantis's service in the Navy were often redacted upon release to the public, to protect personal privacy, according to the Navy.[38] Mansur Ahmad Saad al-Dayfi, who was held at Guantanamo, alleged in 2023 that DeSantis oversaw force-feedings of detainees.[39][40][41] In 2018, DeSantis said that a commander could be facing a hunger strike by prisoners, and the legal adviser's job would be to describe for the commander the pertinent rules that allow force-feeding. In 2023, he said: "I was a junior officer. I didn't have authority to authorize anything", and that a commander would have made such a decision.[42]
In 2007, DeSantis reported to the Naval Special Warfare Command Group in Coronado, California, where he was assigned as a legal adviser to SEAL Team One; he deployed to Iraq[43] in the fall of 2007[44] as part of the 2007 troop surge. He served as legal adviser to Dane Thorleifson, the SEAL Commander of the Special Operations Task Force-West in Fallujah.[35][36][37]
DeSantis returned to the U.S. in April 2008, reassigned to the Naval Region Southeast Legal Service. The U.S. Department of Justice appointed him to serve as a Special Assistant U.S. attorney[43] at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Florida. DeSantis was assigned as a trial defense counsel until his honorable discharge from active duty in February 2010. He concurrently accepted a reserve commission as a lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the US Navy Reserve.[45]
During his military career, DeSantis has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Iraq Campaign Medal.[35][36][37]
DeSantis was still serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve as of his transition to the governorship.[2] His membership in the Navy ended in 2019, shortly after his gubernatorial inauguration.[3]

HAS 'THE DONALD' EVER VOLUNTEERED TO SERVE HIS COUNTRY IN THE U.S. MILITARY?

In 2012, DeSantis announced he would run in the Republican primary for Florida's 6th congressional district. The district had previously been part of the 7th, represented by 10-term Republican John Mica, but Mica's share of Orlando had been drawn into the new 7th District, and Mica opted to run there.

DeSantis won the six-candidate Republican primary with 39% of the vote, while the runner-up, state representative Fred Costello, received 23%.[46] In the November general election, DeSantis defeated Democratic nominee Heather Beaven 57–43%, with majorities in all four counties.[47] He was reelected in 2014 and 2016.

DID THE DONALD PUT RON IN THE U.S. CONGRESS?

Committee assignments

During the 114th United States Congress, DeSantis served on the Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and chaired its Subcommittee on National Security.[48] He also served on the Foreign Affairs Committee, Judiciary Committee, and the Republican Study Committee, along with several subcommittees of those.[49]
DeSantis signed a 2013 pledge sponsored by Americans for Prosperity vowing to vote against any global warming legislation that would raise taxes.[50] He introduced the Faithful Execution of the Law Act of 2014, which did not become law but would have required the United States Department of Justice to report to Congress whenever any federal agency refrains from enforcing laws for any reason.[51][52][53] In 2015, DeSantis was a founding member of the Freedom Caucus, a group of congressional conservatives and libertarians.[37][54][55]
DeSantis opposes gun control. He received an A+ rating from the National Rifle Association.[56] He generally opposes firearm regulation, saying, "Very rarely do firearms restrictions affect criminals. They really only affect law-abiding citizens."[57]
DeSantis was a critic of Obama's immigration policies; he opposed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) and accused Obama of failing to enforce immigration laws.[58][59] He co-sponsored the Establishing Mandatory Minimums for Illegal Reentry Act of 2015, also known as Kate's Law, which would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to increase penalties applicable to aliens who unlawfully reenter the U.S. after being removed.[60] DeSantis encouraged Florida sheriffs to cooperate with the federal government on immigration-related issues.[61]
In 2016, DeSantis introduced the Higher Education Reform and Opportunity Act, which would allow states to create their own accreditation systems. In an op-ed for National Review, he said his legislation would give students "access to federal loan money to put towards non-traditional educational opportunities, such as online learning courses, vocational schools, and apprenticeships in skilled trades".[62]
In 2016, DeSantis received a "0" rating from the Human Rights Campaign for his voting record on LGBT-related issues and legislation.[63][64] Two years later, he told the Sun-Sentinel that he "doesn't want any discrimination in Florida, I want people to be able to live their life, whether you're gay or whether you're religious."[65]
DeSantis was present before the June 2017 congressional baseball shooting, and the perpetrator asked him whether the players were Republicans.[66] Later that summer, DeSantis proposed legislation to end funding by November of that year for the Mueller investigation of President Trump.[67] He said that the DOJ order dated May 17, 2017, "didn't identify a crime to be investigated" and was likely to start a fishing expedition.[68] House Republican leaders did not allow DeSantis's amendment to proceed to the floor for a vote.[69]

Fiscal policy

DeSantis has said that the debate over how to reduce the federal deficit should shift emphasis from tax increases to curtailing spending and triggering economic growth.[70] He supports a "no budget no pay" policy for Congress to encourage the passage of a budget.[71] He believes the Federal Reserve System should be audited.[72]
In the wake of the alleged IRS targeting controversy, DeSantis called for IRS commissioner John Koskinen's resignation for having "failed the American people by frustrating Congress's attempts to ascertain the truth".[73][74] He co-sponsored a bill to impeach Koskinen for violating the public's trust.[75] Citizens Against Government Waste, a conservative think tank, named DeSantis a "Taxpayer Superhero" in 2015.[76]
He supported the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, which would require that regulations that have a significant economic impact be subject to a vote of Congress prior to taking effect.[77]
DeSantis introduced the Let Seniors Work Act, which would repeal the Retirement Earnings Test and exempt senior citizens from the 12.4% Social Security payroll tax, and co-sponsored a measure to eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits.[78]
He sponsored the Transportation Empowerment Act, which would transfer much of the responsibility for transportation projects to the states and sharply reduce the federal gas tax.[79][80]
DeSantis has opposed legislation to require online retailers to collect and pay state sales tax.[81]
He voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.[82] He said the bill would bring a "dramatically lower tax rate", "full expensing of capital investments", and more jobs to America.[83]

Congressional pensions and term limits

DeSantis opted not to receive his congressional pension, and filed a measure that would eliminate pensions for members of Congress.[72] After introducing the End Pensions in Congress Act, DeSantis said, "The Founding Fathers envisioned elected officials as part of a servant class, yet Washington has evolved into a ruling class culture."[84]
DeSantis supports a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on members of Congress, so that U.S. representatives would be limited to three terms and senators to two.[85] As of 2022, he has served three terms as a U.S. representative.[86]

DID 'THE DONALD' MAKE OR PUT RON IN 3 TERMS OF CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE AND ON THOSE COMMITTEES?

2016 U.S. Senate candidacy

Main article: 2016 United States Senate election in Florida
In May 2015, DeSantis announced his candidacy for the United States Senate seat held by Marco Rubio, who initially did not file to run for reelection due to his bid for the U.S. presidency.[87] He was endorsed by the fiscally conservative Club for Growth.[88] When Rubio ended his presidential bid and ran for reelection to the Senate, DeSantis withdrew from the Senate race and ran for reelection to the House instead.

And the feveredvrains claims that 'The Donald' put Ron in office as the Florida Governor.
Ron won the 1st time by .04% with that 'CLAIMED' DJT help. --- MARVELOUS!

But after his own actions as the GOV., and without ANY OF DJT's help,,,
Ron won his 2nd term reelection by the largest margin in FL history.

DeSantis is a bum and just like he saved him in 2018 he will finish him off for good in 2024 and then Jeb Bush and Paul Ryan can go cry with their crooked billionaire donors.

I just saw the infamous pudding ad. I can't believe someone saw the script and authorized production much less aired it. This is the opposite of the phone at 3am ad.

I'd never heard of it...just watched it. LOL, holy crap.

Trump is being smart politically as he knows their plan. Ignore any other candidate for the most part and attack DeSantis for being in bed with the crooked establishment. When DeSantis backers and influencers keep calling for Trump to cool it that its going to hurt the party against Dems attack again. Its why DeSantis has lost the base support he previously had. Unless they reconsider which I doubt with the NY stuff this has created the space Trump needed before we get non-stop ads pushing DeSantis.

If the goal is to win the Republican nomination, agree.

If the goal is to win the presidential election, disagree.

To be fair, DeSantis is doing better in UK and GA versus Haley.

But Trump's lead in UK is massive. Please please please let the turtle try to run again.

The small circle of Trumpys left on this board don’t even have the gray matter to see what’s going on here.

Their plan has been out there for a while but they are too damn arrogant to pull it off and Trump didn't fall for their early staying above the fray tactic. Trump is keeping Graham around just in case a little insurance was needed for SC but most likely Trump wins IA and NH which will effectively end any chance DeSantis had except for praying the left can somehow lock Trump up. It would be funny to see the donor reactions if DeSantis was to fall to the teens though. What do they do with Haley and Scott then?

None of that matters if we don't secure the 2024 election.

DeSantis was rolled out cause they REALLY don't want to have to steal another election. Because they know Trump has support so massive that they will be in severe risk of getting caught in the act next time if they have to face him again.

DeSantis was rolled out cause they foolishly thought America hates Trump as much as they do, and would support a pub who has similar policies as Trump, without the mean tweets. Trump's 30-point lead over DeSantis across the board proves the error of this thinking. Hells bells it's beginning to look like he won't even beat RINO Nikki Haley.

Next will be they will try to keep Trump in court instead of on the campaign trail. This could actually hurt him a tad, but it will also stoke outrage over how big of a sham it is, so it will more or less cancel out. It definitely won't give Trump the ding that the left thinks it will.

So the left will be forced to either try to steal another election, or they will realize they can't do it without getting caught, and push for it to be suspended. They are already laying the groundwork for the suspension.

Ideally, they want Trump in jail and off the ballot. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't try to push for Trump to be removed from ballots in blue states.

Meemaw RINO just doesn't want Trump to win. As soon as Trump is out of the race, she will drop this discussion like a hot potato, proving where her allegiances were all along. See, some of us DO understand what the plan is.
