What? I saw two names, and it seems neither of them were working with Trump anymore. DeSantis adding two FORMER members of Trump's 2020 campaign equals "DeSantis is stealing key players from Trump'? Goodness Fox is shilling hard for DeSantis.
While the GhostofBrainless and the feveredbrainbs are shilling even harder for 'The Donald.'
And both of them are doing the Rat's Pub party dissension work for them imo....
It seems to me that 'The Donald' began with MAGA, but he has now gone selfish and just wants to go with Make 'The Donald' Great Again....

Again, I'd rather see Ron as the VP with a run in 2028, but DJT could poison the pool for both of them, if he keeps up with his constant attacks on Ron.
Diehard Trump folks are very sensitive to any mention of a DeSantis presidential run. It's just odd imo with the COMMANDING lead that Trump appears to hold over DeSantis.

I would consider myself a Diehard Trump supporter...and I do not feel this way. I am sensitive to giving him his fair shot. And that is not happening, nor did it in the 2020 election. I PRAY DeSantis does not go establishment....I really like him. He is NOT Donald Trump though. I KNOW Trump is not controlled by people I did not vote for. I am not sure at this point about DeSantis. And I REALLY hope he does not go that route. If he does, he will never win a National election.
I agree. You appear to be the exception here. You haven't bashed DeSantis and the mere mention of him doesn't seem to give you the vapors. You just prefer Trump which is entirely reasonable.
...saying that you are the exception probably isn't fair. There are others on this board of a similar mindset. I think Navi is another who prefers Trump but isn't allergic to DeSantis.
I LOVE what DeSantis has done here in Florida. And I am sure there are forces out there that fear him that are trying to throw monkey wrench's in to his campaign. But even if he is NOT going the establishment route...I would LOVE for him to be Trumps running mate in 2024, and take an 8 year run after that. I believe there is a way to make that happen. Except Trump is REALLY trying to cut him off at the knees

FNC had better watch themselves. Their ratings are starting to not do as well as they have been. There are many of us that watch WAY less after election night 2020. Ther DNA is NOT conservative....they just make good business decisions because there is really no competition for them
First off I agree that FNC is pro Republican alternatives to Trump. That appears to me to be rather undeniable.
However, that article does make mention that Trump has captured DeSantis "defectors" as well and I think it mentions that the people joining the DeSantis PAC no longer work on Trump's campaign.
Double however...the title of the article makes clear what the editor is hoping that you will discern from just reading it (meaning only the title) rather than the whole article. That's the state of modern American journalism...our illustrious fifth estate. 🙄
Donald Trump has a record as President and some may say it is not a good one. Yesterday he was at the NRA. Why they invited someone who has disdain for them I haven't a clue but they did.
The very first test he faced when President involving weapons he failed. Miserably. He shows his true self in this video. I know who my Governor, Ron DeSantis is and you will never see him bowing to liberals in Congress.
Is this bitter man who you really want to be President in 2024. It is not going to happen.
DeSantis being Establishment and controlled is another false narrative put out by people who fear him. Trump pushes the narrative harder than anyone. It is not going to work. DeSantis has a record and soon he will be presenting that record.
DeSantis was a member of the Tea Party and a founding member of the Freedom Caucus. He had to fight the establishment in Congress. There is nothing in his background that hints he will not stand true.

It is amazing that some people want to recycle the same old broken down has beens when there is a dynamic leader who can step in from day one and get this nation out of it's malaise.
Florida has been blessed with a leader who does not back down and has taken every shot his opponents have and ends up on top and moving forward. The reason they hate him is because they fear him and know he is a winner. This game is just starting and soon my Governor will be on offense. The corn is popping and the beer is cold.
The NRA has been in the pocket of government for quite some time. Not only do they talk out of both sides of their mouth, they helped write some major gun control legislation.
The NRA doesn't protect gun rights anymore, they barter them for favors.
I dropped my membership about 5 years ago. It was a waste of money. With Florida gun laws as they are I really don't need the NRA.
My local Sheriff encourages citizens to build up an arsenal because an armed public makes his job easier. I am more than happy to oblige.

Trump is being smart politically as he knows their plan. Ignore any other candidate for the most part and attack DeSantis for being in bed with the crooked establishment. When DeSantis backers and influencers keep calling for Trump to cool it that its going to hurt the party against Dems attack again. Its why DeSantis has lost the base support he previously had. Unless they reconsider which I doubt with the NY stuff this has created the space Trump needed before we get non-stop ads pushing DeSantis.
