This is EXACTLY how weakness gets installed. Voting for someone because of skin color, and not who will do the best job is ridiculous to me. Our Constitution guarantees EQUALITY...not EQUITY.

Very charismatic, and as we have seen around here...many people vote for who they LIKE instead of how they think they can govern.
Not what I said. I am done picking between just the 'two' main parties. If one of them offers a candidate I support 100%, I will vote for them. If there is another candidate I support 100%, I will write them in.
If there's no candidate out there I 100% support, I stay it home. I'm done voting for RINOs to keep from voting for dems. If politicians want my vote from now on, they have to earn it.
As for 'throwing away' a vote, everyone knows who will win Florida today, there's really no point in you voting by that logic as your vote won't have anything to do with the outcome.
Skin color should have nothing to do with who we elect. It should never be a consideration or care. The left and media has tried to guilt the country into supporting politicians based on identity factors that have nothing to do with their ability to actually do the job.

The governor's team has reached out to at least six Florida congressional Republicans over the past week trying to stop the bleeding.

I never said it should. And again, I didn't vote for him.
I did feel some level of pride as an American that a black person could become president. When you consider the journey we've been through, I think that pride is reasonable and understandable. JMO

I was raised in a VERY conservative (in every way) home. VERY political. M Father watched CSPAN during the day to watch them debate, and vote on bills. He refused to watch sitcoms, series, etc. I hated it...until I was about 16, and then I started doing much of the same...so did my sister. None of us loved politics...it was love of Country, and knowing how important all of this was to make America the best it could be.
Ms Kelly A Conway gave the best advice for our beloved Govenor Desantis, that is he is not the answer to Trump but the answer to Biden. If He gets to that position I will gladly vote for him.

A lot of the national Rep establishment figures are. I think the ones in FL and nationally (as far as US Congressmen etc.) are seeing the writing on the wall and don't want to be on the losing end with DeSantis. Now of course some Trump haters like crooked Chip Roy have.
