DeSantis is in bed with those same characters. As a Governor he has been able to hide most of his globalist views. Even started waffling on his Ukraine views because he still thought he could fool a big chunk of the base.

I could not agree with this any more than I do. Desantis MAY be our nominee...especially if Trump keeps screwing around and trying to tear him down in any way. I have a feeling some polling has made Trump change course a bit, as he softened the BS rhetoric he has been spewing. He is NOT the enemy...EVERY democrat alive IS.

We've discussed this before, we just look at it differently. My view is if you always vote for the guy you agree with 50% of the time, you are encouraging more candidates to run who support similar issues.
I would rather write-in a vote for a guy whose views I support 100%, than vote for a pub who I hate slightly less than the dem candidate. At least with the write-in vote I am signalling the type of candidate I want to see on future ballots. If I vote for the 50% guy, I am signalling that I will vote for anyone as long as he or she has an R next to their name.
