37 points is massive. I don't think anyone on the right can 'capitalize' on a Trump arrest. I suspect DeSantis knows that, and he's privately telling the Bushes and other RINOs that their pipe dream is about done. Notice we haven't heard any news about DeSantis running for the last week or so.

I could see a scenario where the RINOs push DeSantis to switch gears and go all in on Trump, in an effort to get Trump to pick him as his VP. Then undermine him as VP.

VP isnt happening as Trump isnt going to change his residence. I lean to DeSantis declaring as long as he stays in 2nd place over the coming weeks. With so much money already placed in those PACs the crooked billionaires/the Bush crowd will just pray the left can convict Trump

Your entire theory that the dems want Trump to run in 2024 cause they think they can beat him again is predicated on your belief that the 2020 election was legitimate.

You know the answer to this. People like O'Keefe and DeSousa will be watching closely in real time come 2024. There are only so many armed robberies you can pull off before getting gunned down in the street. And there are only about 7 or 8 voting banks that matter regarding electoral votes.

They did in Arizona and Georgia. PA. now that's a special kind of retard to elect Fetterman.

I'm not sure the watchdogs were out for midterms as many people simply stay home as there is less interest in general. I don't think the GOP expected it and got caught off guard in 22. The fact that the down ballot voting didn't follow Biden in 2020 probably made them complacent and didn't expect it to happen without a Presidential candidate up for grabs.
 
I'd be very curious to know how many "votes" Biden got in 2020 that had no other boxes checked down ballot. Allegedly, it was a huge number. You can't get the crack heads focused once that bottle of Ripple has been cracked, and it also screams a mail fraud scheme.

DeSantis has much less support than Trump does, that's why the dems want him instead of Trump. Easier to cheat when you have fewer votes to change.

Trump's a jackass and I dread facing the election with him as the nominee but I'd really prefer if DeSantis backed off officially and focused on Florida for the rest of his term.

It's hard to believe the republicans can't come up with anyone else.

Just logic. Trump is now up by 37 points in polls, so obviously DeSantis is done.

Cheating becomes riskier at scale. The more you have to cheat, the greater the risk of getting caught.

Dems would rather face the guy whose trailing Trump by 37 points in polls.

America First candidates have the voter support, but the Republicans don't like them cause they can't control them like they can the establishment picks.

90% of pubs are really Dems. They just want to go to Washington, stay in Congress for 40-50 years, then retire when forced to due to no longer being able to physically do the job of showing up to vote on pork for themselves.

America First candidates want to actually address the corruption in DC and improve the American way of living. No one who is entrenched in Washington for the next 40-50 years wants any part of that because THEY ARE PROFITING OFF THE CORRUPTION.

That's why the voters keep pushing for America First candidates, and the establishment pubs keep giving us Bush/Romney type flunkies. Amazingly, some 'republican' voters seem to want that.

This was a very good move by Trump. Gave him an easy exit out. It will not work, because the people who want control do NOT have control when Trump is in charge. It will now get much dirtier
