House democrats are hours away to leave Donald Trump in a place of no return

Democrats have accused the President of abusing his power by withholding nearly $400 million in US military aid to Ukraine and the prospect of a visit to the Oval Office by new President Volodymyr Zelensky in order to coerce the former Soviet state into investigating potential 2020 foe Joe Biden. Such conduct, they say, is worthy of impeachment because it amounts to bribery, puts Trump's own political goals ahead of America's national interests and effectively invited a foreign power to interfere in a US election.

The narrative will never remove him from office. So, sit on that.

That’s not the point. It’s about doing the right thing and sending a message for future presidents that there are limits as to how to use the office.

We know the spineless Pubs will never put the country above their political ambitions, but they will have to go down on record as supporting his actions.

Bingo! How many times has Pres Trump said that we have to hold obama and his administration accountable so this doesn't happen to future presidents?

I knew you would eventually wake up. Good man.

That's pretty funny, being that VP Joe Biden, Obama's Ukraine 'Point Man' is on tape doing exactly what they falsely accuse Trump of doing. Blatant Bribery of the Ukraine President to fire their Prosecutor, to save his corrupt son Hunter.

"You have 6 hours to fire your prosecutor or you won't get the 1 Billion in loan guarantees from the U.S."

That's about as crystal clear as it gets.... o_O

Leftists wouldn't know what the "right thing" was if it bit them in the ass.

Well, it certainly isn’t having Congress taking orders from the President. They are supposed to be an independent branch of the government.

What is this, 2014?

And the point is that was done out in the open, with full support of the Pubs in Congress, the IMF and the State Dept. See the difference?

This is what a real conservative, not just a Trump lackey, sounds like.

George Conway—husband of senior presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway—and several other Republicans launched a political action committee Tuesday to oust President Donald Trump and lawmakers that support him from office in 2020, even if it means a Democrat majority in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

"Mr. Trump and his enablers have abandoned conservatism and longstanding Republican principles and replaced it with Trumpism, an empty faith led by a bogus prophet," founders of the campaign wrote in an op-ed in The New York Times.

George Conway, along with political strategists Steve Schmidt and John Weaver and media consultant Rick Wilson, are the founders of the Lincoln Project, which sees Trump as both unfit for office and harmful to the Constitution. The project's goal is to defeat the president and "Trumpism" at the ballot box in November.

Using former President Abraham Lincoln as their guide, the co-authors of the op-ed wrote that America is at a point in its history reminiscent of Lincoln's time when its leader had to save the union and weave the nation back together.

"But those wounds can be bound up only once the threat has been defeated. So, too, will our country have to knit itself back together after the scourge of Trumpism has been overcome," the op-ed said

George Conway is a republican like you are a critical thinker.

But by all means, keep trying to get rid of the most popular and productive president in the nation's history. It definitely sounds like a winning strategy for your side.

You ignore reality. Presidents have done far more to twist arms before.

Nixon sabotoged peace talks because he thought he could get a better deal, and keep it as a campaign issue. The deep state of the day was coming out of the Kennedy, Johnson era. They sat on that information for the good of the country.

Today's counterparts in the Executive Law Enforcement and intelligence sphere organized and executed operations designed to spy on and inflict political harm on a candidate, president elect, and even President.

We now know, without good evidence, Trump's lawyers office was raided and presumably confidential materials taken as evidence.

You've no moral high ground to stand on.

There are obviously some Democratic skeletons burried in Ukraine, they were getting rich, and we do now know Ukraine assisted in the dossier and other things.

That is the reason the Democrats jumped all in as soon as Ukraine came up as an issue. Best defense is offense.

I certainly do. In fact, I would never excuse any president’s transgressions just because a different one did the same or worse. That’s the LCD Defense and is dangerous.

I have no problem weeding out all of the illegal activities but that doesn’t excuse Trump’s abuse of the office one bit.

You've never once called for obama to be investigated even though we have EVIDENCE of what he did.

There isnt a shred of evidence that Trump did anything wrong, in fact there are truckloads of evidence that hes been a model President.

Sorry. I know CNN doesn't tell you that but there's a lot they dont tell you.

Demorat attempted coup impeachment falls on it's lying partisan face.

President Trump wins in a landslide reelection in 2020,,, BOOK IT. o_O

And it's likely that the House returns to a Republican majority to go with it.

I'm fully on board with impeachment and removal.

Trump is a total failure and a con man.

But the only valid criticism of Trump is coming from the right. The lefts complaints are all fake and gay.
