I don't know the exact number they need but they have been seriously underfunded. Even most Pubs agree with that.
I'm nor sure about the armed part but I still don't understand why people don't want millionaires to pay the amount of tax they owe. No ones going to beat down your door.
They shouldn't exist at all, and none of them should be armed.
I agree on the armed part, but if there were no audits, no one would pay taxes.
I've studied it pretty extensively. It has some appeal but isn't very practical. It would probably reduce consumer spending which would be bad for the economy. And nobody would accept a 23% sales tax.
But I agree, in principle, its a much better system.

Give me the Federal Registry # for the LAW that says that a Sovereign Citizen of the Republic of Florida owes a Federal Income Tax on their earned wages.

I haven't checked in a long time, but I assume that the more you earn, the greater percentage of your income the government seems to believe it is entitled to.
Add to that capital gains and inheritance taxes and it seems like they want to punish people for being successful, or double dip.
Therefore, I'm OK with the rich doing whatever they can legally get away with to pay the government the least amount possible.

That tax was rescinded by the Congress after the end of WWII in 1947.
Since that time, it's been the Ignorance Related Slavery that's been promulgated by IMO, criminals.

Gas prices have also started going back up in my area; about $0.30 per gallon. I don’t necessarily blame Biden for this, but if somebody going to blow smoke about negative inflation I’m going to push back.
